He's by far the most undependable receiver in the NFL, and the Browns finally tired of his unending bullshit. That said, there's no doubt those days are long behind him, now that he's a Patriot. I'm sure he'll go on to have a HoF career from here...
I get the thought. The one thing we have to come to terms with, however, is that it simply wasn't going to happen here. Gordon going with the long con (I posted his MRI results in another thread), but he is 100% healthy. He just didn't want to be a Cleveland Brown.
Didn't we just get rid of a kicker who was just as crappy?????? There isn't one single veteran somewhere that might kick better than Gonzo or this guy?
Ooooh.....forgot to add they signed WR Rod Streater formerly of the Bills too. (Edit) Which begs the question, what was wrong with Dez Bryant and what didn't they like about him?
And why didn't they trade for Odell when they had a chance? I hear the Giants would have taken a 6th rounder from the Pats for him....... (sarcasm font off)
I agree 100%...He played the Browns and got exactly what he wanted. After screwing us over for 44 of the last 49 games....smh.
He's not the only one... anyone notice that Cam Erving (who recently signed an extension with the Chiefs) is slowly turning into a very good player?
^^^^^ Times Cam Erving threw someone around in Cleveland: 0 Times Cam Erving was thrown around in Cleveland: 1,517
Maybe better for the Bold Predictions 2018 thread, but... Greg Joseph becomes the next Phil Dawson? (Dawson only made 74.7% of his collegiate kicks at Texas.)
