I know this isn't the purpose of this forum, but if anyone knows someone in the North Houston, Tx area looking for a job and is wanting/willing to do warehouse work shoot me a line and I will pass along more info.
I heard they are taping a sequel to Draft Day, but this time it is a documentary following around Ken Dorsey. The film begins with Dorsey waking up, a head shot of him in the shower, then changing scenes to the kitchen where he opens up the fridge and pulls out a Monster Energy Drink. As he chugs the can down, he seems to be deep in thought. He turns on the TV and the talk is about how stupid the Browns would be if they don't draft Josh Allen's made for the AFC North arm..he changes the channel to see two guys debating why their version of the mock is best based on one taking Josh Rosen and the other Sam Darnold...He turns off the TV... Grabs a pen and sticky note laying on the table and writes Spoiler: Sticky Note Folded Up Psyche, you'll have to watch the film to see how it ends... Just kidding, it obviously says Mayfield NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
I thought it was going to be a Freaky Friday spoof when I read this - the weakest-armed QB in NFL history and a strongest-armed QB swap bodies for a draft and hilarity ensues!
Also... ... continues to be gainfully employed while this same team just declined to offer Pro Bowl safety Eric Reid a contract due to their concerns about him kneeling during the anthem.
Kneeling during the National Anthem is driving ratings down. Getting arrested doesn’t stop people from watching.
Yeah, it’s ok to beat your wife or girlfriend, but fuck you if you kneel during the anthem. This country is so fucked up.
Two ladies are sitting in a veterinary waiting room with their dogs. One of them has a large Rottweiler. She peers over at the other and asks “what are you in for?” The second has a tiny Terrier. She looks up abruptly and replies “ohhhh well Rosco here gets so excited when the mail is delivered. He runs all over the house and then mounts my leg. I can’t do anything with him in that state... so I’m having him fixed. How about you?” The first lady snaps back “oh my! I have the same issue with Brutus here! When I go out to get the paper, as soon as I bend down he’s all over me!” “Oh you’re getting him fixed then?” “No, I’m getting his nails trimmed...”
Makes two of us ! you kneel your a POS . that is all . Man up stand up . show some respect or pack your shit and get the hell out of the country if your so oppressed " .
missing the entire point of ANYTING patriotic or the point of the protest. Too many people have fallen for the trap that this is an Anti-American or ANTI-military protest. It is neither. It is a peaceful protest done at the time to honor the country in a manner that was suggested BY A GREEN BERET to be a sign of "HONOR AND RESPECT". I posed this question in a conversation yesterday, "If Kap said he was kneeling to pray for our country during the anthem, would there be the same outrage?" I hardly think there would be, and to think there are not other issues or agendas at play is ridiculous. This guy is getting a bad rap when he has essentially worked himself out of a job, while continuing to raise money and donate A MILLION dollars of his own money to help people in need. Sounds pretty damn American to me. Moreso than most that complain about it. Did he make a mistake with the sock thing? Yes, no doubt, but he has more than made up for it. What people don't talk about is when the Giants K last year was accused of domestic abuse literally ALL of his teammates came out in support of him. "that's our teammate" "we have to stick together" etc, and there wasn't league members speaking out against him. For some reason you see that with Kap, and I understand the 2 events are not tied together, but it sends the message the beating your wife and keeping track of it is worse than kneeling. As Sams article shows...ratings are up too, so that's more #fakenews.
My whole family including me has served in the United States Armed forces .I am a trustee at my local American Legion post and i also help out with the Honor Guard doing funerals for Vets . I have lost family members in combat . you kneel in front of me i will kick you in your clueless face .i don't care if your 8 or 89 . I hate politics !! Football is killing itself IMHO . rule changes hell you cant hit anyone anymore ?? don't mix sports & politics . if these clueless assholes want to do something go the inner cities and educate where they kill each other everyday. Fuck Kap and all the rest and all the rest of the fucking dirt bags !!! MAN UP STAND SHOW RESPECT!!
BEREA, Ohio -- The roster purge continues. The Browns released several veterans on Thursday, including tight end Gavin Escobar, linebacker Max Bullough, wide receiver Bug Howard, tight end Matt Lengel, wide receiver Larry Pinkard, defensive back C.J. Smith and running back Kelvin Taylor. For all of your Browns news from Berea follow @FredGreetham on Twitter
Kneeling during the anthem to recognize that there is a fundamental issue in the country in no way shape or form has any bearing or implication towards or about any and all service members. Why is that a hard concept? The issue is blind patriotism and indoctrination. There are a million reasons to protest this country that would be suitable for an anthem protest. Recognizing that as a country, we have a rather shady, shitty, past is part of correcting it for the future. Yelling "fuck the person kneeling, I will kick his ass" IS what is the problem. It's not about a song, or a flag, those are just symbols, and what those symbols represent is what is being lost in such speak. Nobody is trying to marginalize yours or anyone's service, you are just letting the narrative be switched in a way that it affects you so you can be outraged. The protestor didn't make it political. Innocent people losing their lives is not politics. Those creating commentary make it political. When the president tries using this (to aid his personal vendetta against the league) it becomes political.
Hey Lym, I completely respect your opinion although it greatly differs from mine. I was in Desert Storm (91), so I do have a realistic basis here. It doesn’t make me correct any more than it makes you wrong for your perspective. It’s just an opinion. To me, it reads as a “facade” to rise for the anthem. It reeks of Uber Alles. It’s a fucking sham. And believe me when I say this, your country doesn’t give two fucks about you. Honestly, you’ll get more love from me (and anyone else here) than you will from the good ol’ US of A. And that, sir, is a goddamned fact. Edit: I’m done with the kneeling topic.
