Kessler has done enough to peak my interest. I don't know yet if he can be a "franchise" guy to build around. Neither does Hue. That's why he's playing.....I think most would agree that if tonight's game was life or death, McCown would be our best bet at winning. Hell he just set the franchise passing mark in Baltimore last season...But the Browns are doing the proper thing. Can Cody push the ball down the field and put more points on the board? That's what we wanna find out.
It isn't just Bitonio...they have had injuries all along the line since Bitonio's loss. I'm not blaming it all on the Bitonio injury, I am saying how a "team" of players make a difference. Take away pieces and the "team" gets weaker. Take away Thomas and the "team" gets weaker. They have picks to go out and get players who can score TDs... BTW, the currently have Crowell, who averaging 4.7 ypc (11th in the NFL)..and has scored 5 TDs rushing (12th in the NFL). They also have Terrell Pryor, who is #20 in receiving yards and #13 in TDs caught... They also added Coleman, who if I remember correctly you thought was one of the best receivers in this past draft. He has, once again here we go, dealt with injuries, but is now on track to compete once again. Taking Joe Thomas away takes away an opportunity to help these players succeed. As soon as they trade Thomas, you would be the first one in here crying about how they have no offensive linemen and need to draft one.
Having Joe Thomas does not have an effect on making these players better...if he did they wuldnt b 0-9 this yr and have a career winng % of bout .350(guess it culd b more or less)...I did say that bout Coleman but if ur saying he's a big play guy then he won't succeed w Kessler cause that isn't a great fit...mayb Hue let the cat out of the bag or is playing possum but I wuld assume Balt wuld expect some deep shots so let's see what Kessler can do
Coleman was a catch and run guy in college, so I don't see how it matters a lot. He has the speed to go deep, but the majority of his plays were catches that he turned into yards...That's Kessler's specialty as well, short timed throws. And you really are football stupid if you truly believe Joe Thomas has NO effect on making an offensive player better. They have replaced players constantly for 9 years, he is the only mainstay, there is NO building going on, only breaking down....
Ok his play has resulted in wins...your right again...no building cause they miss on 90% of their draft picks...T-Rich, Manziel, Mingo, Weeden, Taylor, etc and the guys they have hit on leave via FA...Ward, Skrine, Mack, Schwartz, Cameron etc

Erving has graded out as the worst center in football . he is pure garbage ! another one of Farmers BUSTS . IF and I mean IF Bitonio can stay healthy something he has failed to do this line can be very good . we need a center and a RT unless Coleman which is a thirtd RD pick this year can show something or see the field . I understand when they drafted Coleman he was still damaged goods . which I questioned why use a third RD pick on damaged goods ?? By all accounts, Cam Erving was supposed to be a rock solid , versatile pick that can play ANYWHERE on the line, and will be a staple in that O-line for a decade...smh....I'm not ready to completely give up. (he did swallow a lung or something)...but yeah bluez, I agree with your assessment. He's been hot garbage since we drafted him...wtf?

Wow! That was horrific...My eyes are burning out of their sockets...Holy shit that was bad!!! The only thing worse than the Browns, was the refs. I've never seen so many phuqued up calls in my life....But it REALLY did not matter. For every ridiculous call that went against us, we countered it with complete ineptness in every phase of the game....I'm done with any optimism towards actually winning a game this season, and quite honestly, after that performance, I now have REALLY serious concerns about our "great" coach. WTF? Our only primetime game of the year, and we have to call a timeout before the first fucking play of the game???????...Look out Detroit, here we come....EMBARRASSING AS ALWAYS!!! Go Browns!
