Or they are stubborn in forcing the issue and making a statement about the rebuild. I don't know if everyone deserves to be on the roster but as with Irish I really like the group of defenders. I don't know how different the Browns drafting brass is from the Manziel class but keeping 16 rookies and passing on Bridgewater for Manziel on top of the Browns saying Wentz isn't going to be good is only making me more confident of Wentz's future.
Two totally different front offices, Joe. NO ONE from the Gilbert / Manziel draft is still in Cleveland.
I figured. Although I would hunker down for a few years of crap and just be glad if they surprise. This is a rebuild they are in for the long run. Almost feels like the Leafs (minus the rookies thing).
Really? well shoot, I'm glad that helps your confidence Joe. lol! So you need the Browns' past ineptitude to reassure you that the Eagles did the right thing on draft day?? Hehe!..Don't forget, your coach is one of the names on our hilarious storefront QB jersey...jus sayin ... for the record...The Browns weren't the only team that thought Wentz was way over-rated...They just happened to be the only team that had the opportunity to make the mistake of picking him #2 overall. Wisely, they got out of it......I mean, lets face it, Wentz did lock himself in a gas station bathroom in New Jersey recently, and needed help of several men to get out...If that doesn't sound like Weeden , then I don't know what does...lol!
If RG3 out-duels Wentz in the opener, does that mean the Browns did the right thing in signing Griffin and passing on Wentz? honestly, knowing what we all know, what did you expect the Browns' brass to say about Wentz, when they were questioned this week? Obviously if they thought he was "the man", they would've taken him....they didn't. We'll see what happens Sunday...
Its hard to get over excited about the Browns this year . all I got to look forward to is hoping they didn't screw up all those draft picks which has been the norm the last 15 years
Outside opinion who hasn't followed Cleveland in preseason, but I think RG3 is going to be the best Cleveland QB in a long time. And when he gets Gordon back the offense will roll so long as Josh stays drug and alcohol free
Dear Ma and Pa: I am well. Hope you are. Tell Brother Walt and Brother Elmer the Marine Corps beats working for old man Minch by a mile. Tell them to join up quick before all of the places are filled. I was restless at first because you get to stay in bed till nearly 6 a.m. But I am getting used to it, so I like to sleep late. Tell Walt and Elmer all you do before breakfast is smooth your cot, and shine some things. No hogs to slop, feed to pitch, mash to mix, wood to split, fire to lay. Practically nothing. Men got to shave but it is not so bad, there?s warm water. Breakfast is strong on trimmings like fruit juice, cereal, eggs, bacon, etc., but kind of weak on chops, potatoes, ham, steak, fried eggplant, pie and other regular food, but tell Walt and Elmer you can always sit by the two city boys that live on coffee. Their food, plus yours, holds you until noon when you get fed again. It?s no wonder these city boys can?t walk much. We go on ?route marches,? which the platoon sergeant says are long walks to harden us. If he thinks so, it?s not my place to tell him different. A ?route march? is about as far as to our mailbox at home. Then the city guys get sore feet and we all ride back in trucks. The sergeant is like a school teacher. He nags a lot. The Captain is like the school board. Majors and colonels just ride around and frown. They don?t bother you none. This next will kill Walt and Elmer with laughing. I keep getting medals for shooting. I don?t know why. The bulls-eye is near as big as a chipmunk head and don?t move, and it ain?t shooting at you like the Higgett boys at home. All you got to do is lie there all comfortable and hit it. You don?t even load your own cartridges. They come in boxes. Then we have what they call hand-to-hand combat training. You get to wrestle with them city boys. I have to be real careful though, they break real easy. It ain?t like fighting with that ole bull at home. I?m about the best they got in this except for that Tug Jordan from over in Silver Lake . I only beat him once. He joined up the same time as me, but I?m only 5?6? and 130 pounds and he?s 6?8? and near 300 pounds dry. Be sure to tell Walt and Elmer to hurry and join before other fellers get onto this setup and come stampeding in. Your loving daughter, Alice
Has anyone been able to find any contract information on DL Stephen Paea recently picked up by the Browns? It's like they're keeping his contract a secret.
