    All of them.....

    ....in pre-season, lol

Honestly, no idea. My guess is now that Gordon is re-instated, they will use Hawkins to bridge the gap the first 4 games...then it will be a race to see which of these guys even make the team...

Right now, I believe it goes like this:

Corey Coleman is entrenched on the roster

Josh Gordon, IF HE CAN STAY CLEAN will remain on the roster

    Then the bubble gets thinner...

Hawkins, Higgins, Lewis will probably survive the cuts..

Then I think it is down to Pryor (who I think will have a leg up if RGIII prevails unanimously in camp, he can be the 3rd QB and they can trade McCown), Payton, Moore and Gabriel.

Someone has to go...even if they keep a large number like 7, there isn't room for all of them.

I believe in the end..they do keep 7, just in case Gordon goes awry and Terrelle Pryor and Jordan Payton make up the final 7...with Moore and Gabriel being cut loose.

    We shall see...

I'm curious about Payton. I even added him to the dynasty off season roster. I doubt I keep him even if he did well because of Gordon and Coleman, never mind the week to week competition, but he is a guy I see that could find a niche on the team. I'm also curious about the one they took relatively early in the draft that everyone thought was a reach.

Outside of Corey Coleman, it's hard to say who might step up and get the snaps...my guess would Higgins, but it's just a guess at this point...not a rookie, but one guy to watch out for could be Terrelle Pryor. He has good relationship with Hue Jackson, and Hue loves the physical mismatches he creates...they were hyping him during mini-camp, so we will see....the wildcard among the rookies is Ricardo Louis IMO. He has great size and speed. Auburn QBs have really struggled lately, so not much production in college to go off of....

It won't matter. According to Showstopper . . . none of them will be on the roster in 3 years anyways.

    :D

  5. I liked Coleman...the rest stink

Potentially this could be among the best tandem of WR's in the NFL with Gordon and Coleman. If we get some QB production, the Browns could be really explosive with the Baylor trio...we'll see...it certainly is something for defense to respect..

I didn't know that Josh McCown went to Baylor ???

Unrelated to the DPL, but . . . next week is August. If you are resurrecting the Kennel Klub FFB league for 2016, you're running out of time.

I am officially retired from FFB but I suspect most of last years players want to re-up for this year.

Lyman, from what I heard yesterday, the Browns are planning to give RG3 around 80 to 90 percent of the starting reps, so I was going off that...you could be right though if things go south for Griffin. Though even if McCown gets the nod, I'd be shocked if he could stay healthy. His playing style doesn't mesh well with his age IMO...So I guess the vets haven't even reported to camp yet and we should already start preparing for Kessler ball..lol!,.who knows? Maybe that would be a good thing.

Just yanking your chain a little, TD. You may just be right about RGIII. However, he may currently getting 80 - 90% of the reps (at this point in time) To give Jackson & Co. something to evaluate how he is adapting to what they're looking for.

I just think it's a tad too early to assume who the starting QB of the Cleveland Browns will be in 2016. That's all.

I know we all like the toughness of McCown, but the bottom line is, he won as many games for us last year as Johnny did. Somehow, that says a lot....I think it's okay for us to assume the Browns are planning on RG3 as the starter in 2016....of course Browns fans know better than any that the QB picture can change in a hurry...I'm hoping for the best for the "Baylor gang" to excell. They might as well, because things aren't going so well at the ol' alma mater...

I will play . if were playing we need to get it up and running .

I would hate to see it just fade away

I'll throw my hat in the ring for fantasy too. Probably won't be able to help getting it up and running since I'll be on vacation this Friday thru next Monday.

  17. TD, I need some of that good stuff ur trying....ur talking bout a rookie who hasnt caught a ball yet and a WR who hasnt played in a lllloooonnnnggggg time....oh btw, hes already hurt which is 2 b expected....I know u will come back w I said potentially, but u can use that word on any player....how bout tandems that are proven already listed by team....Jets, GB, Zona, Pitt, Det, Jax, Oak and many others....my guess Gordon wont even b w the Browns next yr

  18. IrishDawg42 Legend Manager Browns Buckeyes Fighting Irish

No you really CAN'T justify using it on just any player...

He is talking about the guy, Gordon, who led the league in receiving the last time he had a "full" year playing...albeit only 14 games, he still led the league...

AND the first overall WR taken in the entire rookie draft.

So expectations are high for Coleman from most sources and if Gordon can be a fraction of his former self...then what TD says could be a reality...

Saying that Potentially this could be among the best tandem of WR's in the NFL with Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola...

Doesn't have the same ring to it as a former league leader and the first overall WR taken in the most recent draft...Even if they are the leading WRs for one of the hottest offenses in the entire league.

  19. Gordon will Never put up those #s again...u don't just miss as much time as he has and act like everything is ok...he looked like a shell of himself when he came back the last time...as I stated during pre draft talk..I liked Coleman but just cause ur the 1st WR taken at # 15 or whatever it was doesn't mean anything...guys went ahead of OBJr and he's a star...plus u weren't even a fan of Coleman

  20. TopDawg Legend

Lmao! Don't worry about it Irish...we've all come to expect these kind of bullchit comments from stopper...if he can't grasp words like " potentially", how can we help him?

How can anybody that calls himself a football coach not understand what I meant when I said they could potentially be a great duo "IF" we can get some quarterback production??? Lol! Irish already said everything I wanted to say...stopper is just an instigator. Unless you have something negative to say about the Browns, this is what ya get from him...total tool.

Sorry stopper, you're right...I Don't know what I was thinking...clearly Coleman and Gordon have no chance at success..

    (sarcasm off)
