Trust me I remember. You thought he would be available in the 3rd. You did praise his hands out of the backfield but I believe you said he needed work on pass pro. Overall you were complimentary but you weren't over the moon.

In the same draft you raved about Jarvis :( and you loved Werner. Now you'll say he should have been drafted to a 4-3 team which may or may not be true but he's on the street and last time I checked lots of teams play the 4-3.

RANK THEM BASED ON THE SCHEME THEY PLAY IN

Buckner would be ranked as a 3-4 end, Bosa would be ranked as a 4-3 end, Jack would be ranked as a 4-3 OLB, Tunsil would be ranked as a Left Tackle, Elliot would be ranked as a running back...oh...maybe I've pushed my point far enough?

I'm thinking long term. Thomas could fall off at any point making him a cap casualty. There are some that say that he wasn't dominant in '15 like he had been in years past. I didn't notice anything. Two different thoughts. Don't think either are wrong.

I see that highlight reel and raise you this one:

Cook had a few really good runs, but the majority of those holes, I could've run through...and he goes down almost every time with one defender. NFL, much smaller holes and much bigger faster opponents. I just don't see him as a 1,500 yard guy....Where I think Zeke has the talent and build to be that.

I'm thinking 3 years to find a replacement, in the meantime there are so many playmakers that need to be found. He may not have been "Joe Thomas" dominant, but after all we are comparing Best in the NFL dominant, vs still near the top of the list as far as LTs are concerned...This year he will be the 8th highest paid LT, in 2017 he is currently scheduled to be the 10th highest paid, more will probably pass him before the season actually starts...and he will still have another year left on his contract...

When comparing value, it doesn't get a whole lot better than that..Especially when you look at recent first round tackles coming into the league..there aren't many living up to their potential, so you may be looking at drafting Tunsil, trading Thomas and having a HUGE loss in talent level...then where would you be?

Tunsil has never played RT, so you don't even know if he can transition, if that is the plan to keep Thomas...

Have you guys heard about Mingo's weight gain? Evidently he's up 25 pounds?? Wow...My apologies if this has already been discussed, but I thought last time he was mentioned we were dream weaving a scenario where he moves to safety and becomes the next Kam Chancellor.....???

I guess he's on the Cleveland special 6000 calorie a day plan since Hue took over....

Wow. That's all news to me...I just heard them talking about it on the radio about an hour ago.....That sounds great to me. I've been among his biggest critics, but nothing would make me happier in the football universe, than to see Mingo live up to his potential...This has been a good week for the Browns IMO...

  9. Buckner, Treadwell or Elliot is my guess at #8.

How aggravating will it be if he blows up this year and then hits free agency? I can't imagine the Browns are going to pick up his option at 11.9M.

  11. TopDawg Legend

Looks like he already has...are you kidding beach? what fan base are you talking to? smh...

If he blows up on the football field, I seriously doubt Browns fans will be aggravated, regardless of his contract situation....

  12. BS....I liked him a lot more than that....Werner is a very good player....Indy wasnt smart w that pick running a 3-4 Def....Jarvis is a solid starter...I also was very high on Kelv Benjamin and told Irish EJ Manuel wuldnt cut it in the NFL

  13. A few good runs? He was making Miami, Fla, Lville and S Fla look slow w a hurt hammy....1 defender? U sure u watched the correct highlights? He wuld b in the 2nd level in seconds from breaking the LOS....he wasnt playing against sllllllooooowwww big 10 teams

  14. U mean he did play at 225 lbs or less during his career and not 235-245lbs like someone on here said....I never wuld have thought

  15. TopDawg Legend

    Josh Norman signs with Redskins...

that's a pleasant surprise for Skins fans...

  16. 1. Goff
    2. Wentz
    3. Ramsey
    4. Bosa
    5. Jax trades w someone who wants Tunsil ahead of Balt
    6. Buckner
    7. Jack
    8. Browns-no clue if they cant trade....I will go w Floyd
    9. Hargreaves
    10. Elliott

  17. TopDawg Legend

Well at least you finally put it out there...Not much different from anybody else's, with the exception of Floyd (naturally)....I actually like him a lot, but do you really think they will go with the guy most often compared to Barkevious Mingo? You know, the old skinny Mingo...

  18. Played in a 3-4 scheme w Pruitt at Georgia...plug in play guy

  19. Btw he's already 245 lbs

  20. TopDawg Legend

thanks...i'm aware of who he is.

I get the scheme fit, coach....could be our guy. who knows?...Though I guarantee some will call him a reach at #8....
