What?!?! I think I left Irish speechless with that last comment. *SCRATCH* I'm not anti-Manziel, Irish. Hoyer was doing the job (and I stress the word "was") and now it's Manziel's shot and I wish him and the Browns the best and hope he is our answer at QB. I'm a bit tired of the revolving door at the position and our annual QB vs. QB debates which at times get a bit ugly and petty and bring out some of the worst in us all. So.........all I can say is Merry Christmas and I hope Manziel is the best present we've had since Graham, Sipe, or Bernie and not just another lump of coal we've become accustomed to since 1999.
Oops... I actually put a simple: *DRINK* Cheers to YOUR comment, but I apparently put it in your quote box... oops... Well, here's another one for ya!! *DRINK*
The Browns brought in free agent Ks Garrett Hartley, Zach Hocker, and Nate Freese for workouts on Tuesday. We're surprised it took Cleveland this long. Billy Cundiff is just 22-of-29 on the season and has missed a field goal in five straight games. Cundiff has come down with a case of the yips. He can't afford another miss
ESPN's Mel Kiper said he does not think there is a franchise QB in the 2015 NFL Draft. Interesting. Kiper ranks Marcus Mariota as the No. 1 prospect on his board and Jameis Winston at No. 6. If those two, ranked so highly, are not franchise prospects at their positions then what does it say about the rest of the talent in this class in the eyes of Kiper? There really is no clear definition of "franchise quarterback," but if it is an Andrew Luck-type prospect, then don't expect one for quite some time.

Browns struggling wide receiver Josh Gordon admitted Thursday that he was irked about not being on field for some third down plays in the Week 14 loss to Indianapolis, particularly when they were not converted, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Gordon caught just two passes for 15 yards in the defeat and has been criticized for not completing routes and for what is perceived by some as a poor work ethic.
