With all this Crow talk... it reminds me of something.... This Guy: Sure is starting to remind me of this guy: *THUMBSUP*
Haha, I've always been 2nd class at everything else, so that fits just fine. Let's not get WAY carried away here though...I still believe... But what Hoyer is doing, works, and I am behind it 100%!!
I've got to say... This tandem of rookies may be what makes this running game go... Let them run with it!! I know Ben Tate thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread, but man, these guys proved when Tate was injured (his life story) they should be the work horses...Tate comes back (coincides with Mack going down, I concede) and the run game doesn't just falter, it disappears! Bring BOTH the rookies back to prominent playing time and they are right back up to the running game we were enjoying earlier in the year. I really don't care if Tate's feelings are hurt, he needs to take a back seat to the freshmen phenoms!
I'm glad the Browns aren't good at all according to Jeremy Hill. I started West in fantasy, and my opponent started Hill. I won.
I've never been a big fan of RBC. (Old school left over) But in our case - today . . . it seems to fit the plan. I question whether any of these three could carry the load for an entire game (although Crowell appears to run harder as the game gets longer). But, the way Shanny is rotating them in and out of the game looks as if each of them can keep some fresh legs under them -and - keep all three of them healthier in the long run (no pun intended). It reflects the "team first", "next man up" mentality that Pettine is putting in place.
Believe it not, Kid I plucked West off the waiver wire THIS WEEK because G. Bernard's still in the M*A*S*H tent. The guy I'm playing this week is the same guy that dropped him.
Best stat of the night . . . The number of Dalton interceptions (3) was bigger than his passer rating (2.0). *ROFL*
Yeah I had my eye on West early, and he was picked up and dropped at some point. I really didn't like Cleveland's running situation when Mack was lost, but now West seems to be kind of in the lead role. I figured it was a good time to take a chance on him.
The Battle for Ohio was a complete smack down, odd helmets and all, the Bungles go quickly into the night.
I don't know about anybody else around here (but I have a feeling everyone wearing brown and orange will agree), but this Sunday... J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets! *BRAVO*
WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!!! Have never been so happy to have picked wrong. Had to go with the odds last night, but truly loved watching the Browns prove everyone wrong. Also not a fan of running by committee, but as many of you have noted, it is working. And now, for the love of God, will the talking heads shut the F*&$ up about Johnny Who???? *OK* Brian Hoyer is the QB for the Cleveland Browns. Period. Rok
LMAO! that's a classic "point to the scoreboard" moment... Sorry you got punched in the face Jeremy....I know it hurts. smh... Let's just hope Marvin makes him the official team spokesman soon....lol!
Let us not forget that had Leonard not fumbled the punt, we might very well have shut them out completely.
