I saw the ticker about Mack leaving the game. Is his injury serious? I realize the Browns played down to their competition a bit in the first quarter, but they turned it around and beat the team they were supposed to beat. Nice win for the fans!
Mack has a broken leg. Fractured Fibula and is done for the year. A big injury and a big piece of their O-line is now down.
Never thought I could be down after something like what happened this afternoon, but the Mack injury is a real bummer! He has never missed a snap including having an appendectomy midweek and returning 4 or 5 days later. Alex Mack is what Pettine meant when he said "Play like a Brown". Speedy recovery!! Wife, finally went to bed, time to watch that masterpiece, one more time....tonight...then maybe get up early and get another one in before work...
Had the game taped and just finished watching it. After that first quarter, thank goodness they brought out the up-tempo offense for a bit. It just seemed the whole team gained confidence with every reception and every first down. And the defense had its moments. Was it just me or did Big Ben just seem off today? They did get a good bit of pressure on him but some of his throws were just awful. A few drops hurt and some of those passes by the sidelines that were caught but the WR couldn't get both feet in. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. And it's about time we had a game that finished with a nice comfortable lead. Loving the crowd noise. Been a long time since that stadium has had a reason to rock. Go Browns!!!!!!!!! Woof!!!!!!
Hoyer is a stud NFL quarterback...He just keeps getting better. Only 8 completions on the day, and they were all huge. He averaged over 20 per completion! ..... Best of all, you know he's not going to kill the team with something stupid, and quite frankly it's been a long time since we could say that about a Browns QB.... Wow. What a great day...that was even more comfortable than I predicted. Great job by the Browns defense....damn that was fun!
I was very confident in the Browns today...They even kept me clean in the survivor league this week. lol! gotta love that call. WOOF WOOF!!!
Yeah, the Browns got pretty lucky... Once Pittsburgh got that comfortable 3 point lead, they went into prevent for the rest of the game. It's the only reason (or should I say explanation) for them getting positive yardage.. *CRAZY* ...stopper... *SCRATCH* ;D
C'mon Irish, admit it. Wasn't much of a victory. The Steelers are only a 0.500 team. Heck, they haven't made the playoffs in like 2 years. Need 2 think b4 u post. Geez!! :[
Shhhhh! don't say anything too him. I'm sure he will just go away, and then we will have our fun place back to talk Browns football...
Aye! Next rounds on me gentlemen! *DRINK* *DRINK* *DRINK* Great game all around! Offense, Defense, Special Teams! They stumbled alittle coming out and I thought... oh man, here we go again, gonna get down big and make it a close one again! But NO! GREAT WIN!
SAS, I don't agree with you often, but I gotta agree with you here, that was a GREAT read! It's nice to be over here, talking about a big win over a division rival and over in "Steeler Nation" (which is dwindling rather rapidly) they're discussing about what sucked worse on Sunday! Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Bark loud and pround fellow loungers! Bark loud and proud!!! *YAHOO* *DANCE* *HI*
