Two of the NFL's greatest uni's....still wish the Rams would go back to the royal blue and yellow though. Why did they screw that up? Anyway, I expect this to be the ultimate test for that Cleveland O-line. I hope to see the continued developement of our revamped running game, and an accurate and decisive Brian Hoyer. This game can serve as a huge confidence boost for him if he can get it going.....And I want to see that Cleveland front 7 continue to bring the pressure. The guy I've been most impressed with so far is Armonty Bryant. Last year's 7th rounder is looking like a potential All-Pro and perhaps the steal of that entire draft. Glad the Browns didn't give up on him as he has been a consistent force in the opponent's backfield. As long as he keeps wreakin havoc back there, our loaded secondary should be able to keep taking advantage of the opportunities... The Rams have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, so this is a good opponent to match up with in preseason week #3. Lookin forward to a good game.

    GO BROWNS!!!

Realizing that history would indicate otherwise, I just don't feel like Cleveland is heading into a buzzsaw the first 3 weeks like most of the 'experts" would have us believe. This isn't Charlie Frye's Browns. I don't think Cleveland is intimidated at all by the Steelers or Ravens anymore. And last time we hooked up with the Saints we whooped em with Colt McCoy as our QB in New Orleans. I understand that we most likely won't be favored in any of those games, but the world needs to hold back a bit on all the "Cleveland will surely be 0-3 at the bye" garbage I'm hearing from everywhere...Seriously, did anybody watch Pittsburgh play the other night? I think Ben needs to keep his head on a swivel week 1 just as badly as our guy does...Al Im saying is, I think Cleveland has a defense that is pretty good, and potentially great. With that, all we need is a QB that doesn't kill us...If we can put 20 points on the board, I like our chances. What if the Browns shock the world and win 2 or 3 before the bye?lol! Crazier things have happened. The talent is their in Cleveland, but have they found a quarterback and a coach? Because those 2 pieces have been missing for a long time on the south shore of Lake Erie. Until the regular season starts, just like most teams, we don't really know what we have.

I don't think any NFL team is intimidated by any other team. Always thought that was a bunch of hogwash. Anyone hear what Steve Smith had to say about the Ravens stealing people's lunch money? What a joke.

This is where I think you're wrong. A good defense can look real bad if they spend too much time on the field. I know it's not a revelation or anything but you need more than just a QB not making mistakes. You need a guy that can make 1st downs and get the defense some rest. Without Gordon I think defenses are going to take away they run and make the QB beat them.

I agree beach. He has to be able to make some plays....I'm just sayin, we don't have to have Tom Brady out there. But clearly a big step up from Campbell and Weeden is needed....

Wow! now that's setting the bar low. I think Johnny might be able to do that. C"mon Hoyer, C'mon Browns. I am looking for the O to look like they know each other at least, and move the chains. Anything after that is gravy, and "yes please, I'd like some gravy".

Gravy boat spotted...oh wait that's just a kid with nachos...

    Very little offense thus far.

    Come on Brownies!!

  10. Fellas this is the 3rd game and still no offense. Hoyer isn't a difference maker. This offense looks very bland. The line looks better but I'm afraid no Gordon no passing game. This position should of been addressed in the draft. Bitonio has 2 holding calls by the end of the 2nd quarter. The defense cant be on the field for 3 out of 4 quarters.

Maybe the Browns are planning on losing for 1 more year. I dont know. But this team doesnt look that good right now. Hoyer IS NOT THE ANSWER! They do have 3 picks next year in the top 2 rounds. I hope I'm wrong but right now this looks like its going to be yet another long season! NO OFFENSE! Go Brownies!!!!!!

THAT is what makes him Johnny Football...He does that enough and it helps the wide receivers get open as the defense needs to tighten up.

3rd down defense was pathetic. It didn't matter what the distance was. That was sad.....Hoyer might have been even sadder. Holy crap this team better get it together in a hurry.

  18. I agree w the above poster....Gilbert was getting beat like a drum vs no name WRs...he isnt even close 2 being ready, but hey he shuld b named starter by week 1
