    OMG...THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT!!!

They were the best in the NBA without a future HOFer, all they needed was one, and it could have EASILY put them over the top and James would be a legend in Cleveland for ever...Unless he comes back, he will just be a player that won 2 titles on an all star team...

  2. here you go......listen dont just hear

    *REF* *STOP*

FYI Stopper I think that Pettine and the Browns are handling JF in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE!

They are not saying that he cannot win the job, they are simply saying that UNTIL he PROVES he is the better QB he is the backup.

  4. IrishDawg42 Legend Manager Browns Buckeyes Fighting Irish

No, he hasn't named Hoyer the starter..

He placed Hoyer at the top of the depth chart entering camp...Someone had to be...

Would you rather he just did the depth chart in alphabetical order?

  5. They were the best what? Regular season? Who gives a crap about that.....SA sits guys just to rest them and LB has learned over the yrs that regular season means nothing now....he wants his mins reduced to b fully rested for the playoff run....they made 1 finals in his tenure and is 4-4 w Miami...ya what a dummy he is.

  6. I guess u didnt listen to video to make above statement

  7. IrishDawg42 Legend Manager Browns Buckeyes Fighting Irish

    Yes, I "listened" you "heard"

You heard a question, Is Brian Hoyer the starter? Pettine, "yes"

If you listened, he then explained, they put together the depth chart and Hoyer is listed as 1 on the depth chart entering training camp..HOWEVER, Manziel will also be taking #1 reps with #1 depth chart players at other positions throughout training camp and will be exposed to opposing #1 defenses in pre-season.

HE HAS NOT BEEN NAMED WEEK ONE STARTER

  8. Ok and my above question was what? Just admit u blew it and made a mistake.....simple.

  9. just my two cents - the differences between the circumstances of lebron leaving cleveland and peyton leaving indy are really large. i find it hard to imagine why anyone should consider them similar.

  10. Lulz I was just comparing the business side of the deals....Indy released a legend cause they didnt want to pay him millions coming off a severe injury and LB made a decision to compete for championships and used his right to become a FA....in the end LB won championships and Manning can still play as was evident w over 50 TDs last yr and playing in the SB.

  11. ok, fair enough, ss - but i don't see why u, or anyone, would expect fans to feel the same way about the two departures.

  12. TopDawg Legend

    ^^^funny.

Anyway. Indy had a plan for a long time. His name is Andrew Luck....they threw an entire season to line themselves up for Manning's replacement...

Why Manning was ever brought into the conversation in the first place is the question, and there is no good reason...."comparing business sides of things" lmao.....whatever. Looks a lot more like backpedaling to me.

  13. Ya thats what it looks like....get a clue....Milw had a plan to get the #1 pick how did that work out? LB had a plan to win championships...how did that work out?

  14. Browns release WR Bennett

  15. *WALL* The conversation has hit it. I am not going to even chime in on this monotone of statements. Why don't we just stop the fatigue factor in this conversation. Sometimes, people just won't agree and some just want to resusciate topics just to read the talk. %) Please bring up another subject and view this one as history. I will continue to read but to no end is there? :-*

hmmmm....I wonder whats up with that? Everything I had read would seem to contradict this move.

just speculating, but my guess is one or two of those UDFA WR's has impressed...

  17. IrishDawg42 Legend Manager Browns Buckeyes Fighting Irish

More speculation leads to the having their eye on someone else to sign and needing a roster spot.
Anyone have any idea who that might be?

  18. They might look to player cuts to pick up that other receiver. Also is the Gordon time limit set for sure yet?

  19. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

There's no need to cut one player (now) days in advance of signing another. That would be roster suicide if you cut player 1 because you plan to sign player 2. If player 2 changes his mind (or is not legally eligible to sign) . . . you're out a player that (at one time) you thought could help your team.

If your going down the Andre Johnson road, he would have to be cut or traded before anyone can sign him.

  20. I just think he was cut cause he is not good....he played in 15 games and totaled 243 yds.....u can find that anywhere
