How about . . . Ryan Alicea 6-1 213 Kain Daub 6-4 243 Reginald Dixon 5-10 207 Ukeme Eligwe 6-2 233 Joseph Hernandez 6-0 210 Ro'Derrick Hoskins 6-2 235 E.J. Levenberry 6-3 237 Reggie Northrup 6-1 217 Terrance Smith 6-4 228 Junior St. Louis 6-2 218 Matthew Thomas 6-3 224 Anthony Valdes 6-1 215 Andrew Wright 6-0 205 Mitchell Zak 5-11 197 Who are these guys you ask? They're all Linebackers for Florida Sate. But, Lord knows that team never amounted to very much.
Wow still living in the past 4 yrs ago....lol I guess LB made the wrong decision huh....4 straight NBA finals and 2 wins.....Im sure he wuld have done that here lol Typical fan rooting for another team to enjoy the moment.
Hey what r u doing researching about my boys lol....btw, watch out 4 Eligwe and Thomas on that list....the last 3 guys must b walk-ons......never heard of them
Im just using the ESPN bio on his height/weight.....he had 36 tackles in a season as an OLB...comparing other OLB's in a 3-4 scheme since they were mentioned.....Matthews(11 games) 41 tackles and Miller (9 games) 34 tackles Jarvis Jones.....didnt even start many games 40 tackles Terrell Suggs- 80 tackles Rob Ninkovich- 90 tackles Connor Barwin- 59 tackles Robert Mathis- 59 tackles Ahmad Brooks- 60 tackles Jonathan Massaquoi- 46 tackles part time player I used some studs and other guys that are avg at best.....I guess ur right beach...hes a nice player lol He shuld make $8-10 mill yr as an avg player....just ask Kruger
Well...just to point out the fact he DID make it to the finals in Cleveland without "building a 3 man all star coup"... Yes, I would HONESTLY say, he would have done that here easily had two all star free agents joined him here ,rather than Miami... And I might add, he would have been doing it to sold out home crowds, unlike in Miami where they needed promotions just to sell out playoff games. YOU are the more a typical person here Stopper...you are the atypical "local hater". You live here, yet are negative about "everything Cleveland". TD doesn't come in here and post 90% of the losses that LeBron experienced... but you DO post 90% negative about , not only Cleveland sports, but their fans as well.... You are the atypical Hater.
So you've proved Sheard had a down year, in a year he battled thru some injuries, congratueffinglations Stopper! He played in 13 games, 36 Tackles, 5.5 Sacks, 1 FF, and 4 PD.... Not a horrible year for someone who had a couple injuries! No one has stated or implied that Sheard is a perennial Pro-bowler, or future HOF'er... the only thing that was said, was that he's going to be playing a "Mario Williams Role" in a 3-4 defense, and you come on here and bash the guy senseless!!! He's a good OLB in a 3-4 defense, that's all anyone is saying! Damn Stopper, you always have something negative to say about any player that ANYONE brings up that plays for Cleveland, so here, I'll give you alittle more ammo.... Joe Thomas is a perennial Pro Bowler AND future HOF'er (not to mention the best LT in the game) Joe Haden is an All Pro, pro bowl, lockdown corner Cameron Jordan is one of the best young TE's in the game, and could be a future superstar! Phil Taylor is A FORCE in the middle of the D-Line! There ya go, have at it champ... *SHADES*
Hater.....I will say it again....a realist and dont where blinders.....the Cavs did everything in their power to get a championship.....Ferry made 1 way trades(Mo Williams for garbage, Jamison for a guy they new they wuld get bak in Z, B Wallace, Wally World, West and Joe Smith in another lopsided deal and still culdnt win. The Cavs were not gonna get 2 AS free agents cause NBA big time players dont come here. Ya lets compare Miami and Cleveland and the living atmosphere....of course people will find better things to do in Miami in the months of Dec, Jan, Feb, March than go 2 a basketball game compared to here. Im a big Indians fan...does that count?
It all started w Beachbum making a general statement that I dont recall saying.....I never really bashed Sheard....but after people made comments bout poking the nest, get ur popcorn ready, etc I just looked up some stats and showed he is a mediocre player in a 3-4 OLB role. Not a big deal.
You answered your own statement though Stopper...James took his ball and left, because Wade wouldn't leave HIS team in Miami. Would James been able to collude and get two different stars to Cleveland? Who knows...But that is the way it went down. The point is, He left the city to go to Wade's town and win not 2, not 3, not...etc...you know the quote...championships and they have won 2 in the 4 years of the experiment. To me, it was a success, because winning a championship in my eyes is a successful endeavor. In the eyes of James, who expected to win 10 in a row, well, maybe I wouldn't agree on the success part of this argument. IF James came back and another All Star came with him to Cleveland, they would immediately be back in the hunt for a championship. Whether Cleveland fans want that, well, it is up to the individuals to decide on a personal basis. If he came back and this team won like they did when he was here last, it wouldn't take long for the fans to forgive him though, that I can almost guarantee... As of today, I can't stand the guy for what he did to Cleveland...until he makes amends for that, I feel the same way TD did and am ecstatic that the Spurs dominated them in this series. I enjoyed it tremendously. Edit: As for the Indians, I wouldn't know, I've never heard anything positive come from you about Cleveland except pre-draft stuff about Manziel, which then turned negative in "the way the Browns are handling him"...nothing is ever good enough for you. I can't attest to your affection for the Indians, because I have never heard you speak about them until now...
Honestly why wuld Wade want to come here and LB court him here instead of play in Miami...thats like us getting a raise in our jobs to stay here or go 2 Miami....I know I wuld b gone asap. What exactly did he do wrong? Every player has a right to become a Free Agent and he exercised that right. He took less $ to obtain an ultimate goal which he did 4 straight yrs by contending for a championship....he wont b the 1st person or last person to leave a team as a free agent....this is a nasty business....just ask Indy and how they handled their beloved P. Manning..it works both ways The Manziel stuff wasnt negative...just treat him like a player instead of having to make crazy comments that management isnt making bout any other player. Keep things in house so u dont have players like Ben Tate making comments 2 the media. As far as the Indians....this is mostly football talk so thats why I havnt made many comments bout them.
Wow stopper, what kind of fan are you?...you will never get it. lol! Yes, I'm happy the Heat lost....so just chalk me up as "living in the past"....smh where's that brick wall JYD? No doubt that wall is a better sports fan than showstopper
Well you know, this is what Im talkin about as far as Showstopper being an instigator... Here he is (as always) on a site that is particular to CLEVELAND fans, and he's tryin to start chit because I said "Go Spurs" as they were finishing off the Heat in the finals. lol! There's no need to re-hash everything. Stopper is as transparent as ever with his intentions....
Ur saying go Spurs on a football website.....mayb there are some people who still dont mind LB and wanted Miami 2 win....ever think of that? Just like there were people in Indy probably cheering for Manning 2 win the SB this past yr. Get over it dude.
lmao! yeah idiot. The exits by both superstars were so very similar. It's was just like the Manning thing in Indy. We all know how Indy did everything they possibly could to keep him. And then of course Peyton staged a national event so he could humiliate Indy publicly and take his talents to Denver.....smh. i don't even know why Im responding ....
No they just cut him cause they didnt think he culd play anymore and he went out and threw over 50 TDs.......ahhhh u were humiliated w his decision....what a cry baby!!!!! I wonder how u reacted w The Shot, The Drive and The Fumble....yes were all fans and cheer for our teams but the bottom line is these guys culd care less bout u, me and the next guy.
Actually what they did was make a business decision. It turned out wrong, but at the time it made perfect sense. Manning was/is a football god in Indy. His injury was such that no one knew whether he would play good football again. They had the #1 overall pick and took the best prospect to come out of college since Peyton Manning... So you have two choices: 1) Hang on to an aging Manning, who just had neck surgery and may never throw a pretty ball again, AND pay his $28M (yes, TWENTY EIGHT MILLION) bonus check. POSSIBLY (key word) watch him tarnish his legacy by playing half hearted football with a hurt neck that could send him out of the game for good with the wrong hit. 2) Begin the new era of Colts football by giving the NFL ready rookie his team from the beginning. I don't think anyone in America argued that Andrew Luck wasn't ready to take over a professional offense... At the end of the day it was a business decision, that many thought was the absolute correct one. The difference in this scenario was, Jim Irsay went on camera, radio, Twitter and every other media outlet thanking Peyton for everything he means to the team, fans and city...Peyton went on the same media circuit praising the team, fans, city and management for every thing they mean to him personally. At the end of the day, they had an amicable business departure that in the end is working out for both of them. LeBron didn't praise everything Cleveland, he didn't call a press conference and announce with a heavy heart he was going to take a lucritive business deal and go to Miami...He called ESPN and had them do an hour + long production of his losing in Cleveland culminating in him saying he was taking his talents to South Beach, where "he" would have a chance to win championships. All but declaring Cleveland is the land of the lost. Doesn't matter if there is truth in his thinking (because I know that is what YOU are thinking Stopper). The fact that he said it out loud on National TV is what made it so callous. Truth is, it wouldn't have been as hard a sell as YOU say it would. In Miami, they win 2 titles and it is talked about on ESPN for a few days and they move on to baseball. In CLEVELAND, it would be talked about long after they were retired and they would have been remembered as the team that brought a championship back to Cleveland. I truly believe in my heart, there is no better sports town than Cleveland. It is the heart and soul of this city. There are other middle class cities in professional sports, but none with a world wide following like Cleveland. Thanks mostly to the Browns of course, but when Cleveland wins, the city erupts...and that without a professional championship since 1964. ...In Miami, they were still deciding between stopping in to catch the game or hit the night club on home game nights of the Championship series...
