The most frustrating thing for Browns fans has to be that the organization knew all this well in advance and still passed on Watkins and Evans. They say Gordon was told of the failed test in December and then received a letter in April. If Gordon knew, then the Browns surely did as well.

Pretty much this. Perhaps they looked at needs across the board and figured that WR talent would be there in abundance but no CB talent even close to gilbert, then again it was watkins they passed on but then again the disparity between watkins and the otehr wr's in the second is less so than the disparity between gilbert and the corners on the board now. 2k
Decision came down to one thing, 2015 first rounder..they valued that with Gilbert over Watkins...I sure as help hope they did their homework on these receivers.
Good point, that trade was absurdly good for the browns, it just sucks overall, you should have close to your pick of the litter in a few minutes though, and there is a plethora of GOOD talent here. 2k
