As per usual, you continue to be dead wrong.

    Scenario:

No way Jerry Jones can pass on Manziel if he's there at 16. The almighty dollar rules in Dallas and Manziel would be a gold mine for Jerry.

The Browns aren't taking him at 4 but it doesn't mean they wouldn't take him later:

Browns trade #26, #71, #83 (Steelers original pick)

    for

    Steelers #15 and draft Manziel.

    Any takers?

I know these things are impossible to predict but I'm bored.

    uh, no....

I'll make that trade to #14 *YES* , as long as Watkins or Evans is the pick at #4

BTW, I obviously think he will be successful...but Manziel will be a gold mine no matter where he goes regardless of his success.

    o_O

    Your Cucking Futs Beach %)

No way I'd want to allow the roster of a division Rival to get healed in this draft by making a trade like that.

You have to take the Steelers out of the equation. The teams do in fact trade as noted last year. It's not about the team, it's about the slot - right in front of Dallas. A move to 15 cost less than a move to 14.

    According to whom?

I personally don't want a trade to the Steelers, if the Bears will take the same offer, then I would simply move up to their spot.

If you are going off the chart, those picks actually move me to 14, not 15...

If you aren't going off the chart, then it is reality, which is the trade is worth what ever the two teams say it is worth.

Although the only way I see the Bears making that trade is if Aaron Donald is gone...BUT, if the Rams don't find a trade partner at #2, they may take the same deal at #13...again, eye of the beholder...

But my options would be a Steelers trade as the absolute last option.

Besides if he would drop to #13, I would simply give up my #26 and #35....

Then again....If I wanted Manziel to begin with, I wouldn't play any games, I would simply draft him at #4...

    Amen, brother!

  10. It's our day Irish, Rams and Browns! *BRAVO*

    You're probably right, Sammy.

Back on CBS, I was one of your strongest supporters.

On here, I probably single-handedly brought your karma from minus something up to around +25.

    Yep. I was dead wrong.

  12. beachbum Legend Manager Steelers

Well if you're going by the chart #26 and #35 are worth more than #26, #71 and #83. I'll take the 26th and 35th! Consider it done! *SHADES*

    *BYE*

Apparently you can't comprehend...I am not offering ANYTHING to the Steelers...We gave you your starting safety last season...That was your "gift" from the Browns..

That would be to move up higher than the Bears, if they didn't want your original proposal.

But, AGAIN, if they want Manziel, they simply take him at #4 (even though I don't think he will be available at #4)

So they why say something sh**ty? Just to get a rise out of me?

Yesterday, I posted a question about why aren't the Texans catching heat about picking Clowney #1 overall when their QB situation is just about as dire as ours. Since then I've spent some time thinking about it.

Rick Smith, the Texans' Executive VP and GM, has a pretty distinguished resume as a GM.

If you can't be successful in the NFL without an elite/"franchise" QB, then why would an experienced GM with the #1 overall pick in the draft not go get his elite/"franchise" QB with that #1 pick ?

I can't come up with an answer for you Lym...I am shocked they are not taking a QB...Whomever they decide is their staff's undisputed best QB on their draft board.

Although, I have a much higher opinion on this class as a whole as most on these boards...I have posted before it could end up being the best class in history. Maybe they feel the same...In which case, they feel they can take a once in a decade(by other prognosticators view, not mine) defensive player in Clowney AND still be able to get one of those QBs by moving up from #32.

    Two reasons:

    1) Seattle Seahawks 2013...

Everyone thinks there's a new model now. And they are wrong.

    2) They are simply not convinced the QBs at the so-called top of the board are any better than the guys at the bottom of the board. And neither am I.

    *SCRATCH*

    huh?

They are WRONG about that model...But you don't think the QBs at the top of the board are any better than the ones at the bottom of the board?

So they are wrong about the model, but they should still take a QB later in the draft?

    *DONT_KNOW*

I will make a bold prediction...Can someone book mark this??

Both Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater will ultimately have better careers than Jadeveon Clowney...

You can take that to the thread we have for putting it 'on the record' -

Just for clarification, how as exactly are you going to compare them?
