Yes, we both have that setup in our iPhones. I didn’t think to check about the international fees though, great tip!!
@IrishDawg42 If you and Mrs Irish are drinkers, the wine and liquors are about $5 a glass when you’re out and about. Beer can range from $2 to $5. If you don’t care to sit in a bar, you can buy wine, beer, liquor for cheap at a local grocery. Some of us have been rotating rooms to have a nightcap in at the end of the day. The most expensive bottle of wine I saw at the grocery was $10 and I bought a bottle of Johnny Walker red label for only $16. Good food at restaurants is relatively cheap. One lunch we had (myself, wife and daughter) was about $40. We had three entrees, two glasses of wine and a Coke. If you want fine dining it does get more expensive. Otherwise you can go with drinks and tapas (appetizers) and only spend $20 or so. We had 11 parents on one tab at a restaurant with meals and 3-4 drinks each and the check was only around $250. There is no tipping almost everywhere. It is included in the price which for the most part are very reasonable and I’d say cheaper than at home for most things. You still tip the baggage handlers at hotels and airports if they help with your luggage. But you don’t have to tip at restaurants or taxis.
Great info!! Thank you! I will be passing this along to my daughter as well. We are a family of tippers, so she will have to adapt, lol. Sounds like it will be a nicely budgeted trip though over all. That's great to hear!
@Lyman Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hoping you might have an update on how you're doing. Anyway, best wishes to you and your family and hope you're on the mend.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Longtime WKYC sports anchor Jim Donovan announced his retirement from television news. The 67-year-old Donovan’s final broadcast on the local NBC affiliate will be on June 10. A native of Boston, Donovan arrived at 3News in 1985 as the weekend sports anchor. In 1999, he became the radio voice of the Cleveland Browns when the team returned following a three-year hiatus. Donovan will continue in that role this upcoming season. “I haven’t called a Browns Super Bowl win yet,” he added. “But I’ll continue to call the games this fall so there’s always hope.”
You're not supposed to be drinking out of there @Lyman. Have Mrs. Lyman flush it for you so it fills back up. Happy Birthday!!!
Hey everyone, I feel like I need a meme of the old lady from Titanic to be back on here posting. Good to see familiar names, hows everyone doing?
Good to see you around. Would love to see you more as it has come to a screeching halt on the Browns boards. We have a few regulars that post every now and again, but not like the daily correspondence we were used to not so long ago. I'd love to see the chatter ramp up again, especially with the season just around the corner.
I was trying to see the last time I was on here, I think it was 5ish years ago. Its crazy to think that I joined in 2013. How did we manage to stay active through all of those years of garbage, and now its quiet? On a team note, Im looking forward to seeing the bottom of the roster churn. There are some interesting names that became available with ties to the team or coaches.
Opinions got the best of everyone I think... When it matters, opinions become more prominent... Now that the Browns matter, anything negative can be a huge detriment. We were all divided on the Deshaun Watson experiment and it hasn't been the same since he was traded for.
May also signal that it’s the first brick in our next rebuild as they continue to play Watson and tank the season.
