    There were attempts at tackling?

Of course he did. He's staying true to his character. Tomlin already made it clear that the Steelers players fell on both sides of the spectrum and he wanted them to do whatever they did as a team. I didn't see anyone else throwing their teammates under the bus to make it known where they stood on the group decision. But of course Ben did. He should have just said, "Hey everyone that wasn't my decision. If it were up to me we would have been out there! Don't blame me."

    Fukn tool.

Agree but at the same time that can be said about getting destroyed by the Eagles last year who were 2-0 "at the time" but finished with a 7-9 record. Perhaps the road record needs further evaluation.

Regardless of the records and stats, I see a team I'm watching on TV that sucks on the road in most games especially the last 2-3 seasons. I don't need records and stats to confirm that.

Well, last weekend certainly took a lot of the steam out of a Ravens-Steelers Week. I'm afraid this game will come down to who sucks less. Thankfully the Bengals have sucked even worse this season, so someone will have to win the North, by default.

Ben today... "I need to be better at taking what the defense gives us."

Well that's a start. Damn glad to hear him acknowledge it. Hopefully he can turn those words into actions.

As do most other teams. There's a reason we're only 3 weeks in to the season and 30 out of 32 teams have at least one loss. And only one of those teams has looked good doing it (KC). Atlanta barely snuck by the Bears and Lions.

The Good: With no Sunday ticket and no internet at home I didn't have to witness this fiasco first hand.
The bad: Knowing going in that they were going to loose this game I even told a coworker at work who is a bears fan that they would win this weekend.
The Ugly: having lost 9 games in the Tomlin Era when favored by more than 7 points. I'm not saying the fault is Tomlin's I'm just stating the fact it has happened 9 times. Who do you blame? I don't care but when it happens 9 times its more than a fluke it is a problem.

Hopefully but what are the odds its player speak much like coach speak?

Ben loves throwing the ball long, until a coach sits him down and tells him to take what the defense is giving he will never change.

Then we may be in trouble because it hink part of the problem is the coaches love the long ball too

I may be wrong on this stat so dont rush to tell me how wrong i am but I looked at his passing over the first 3 games and it looks like he has attempted 18 passes of 20 yards or deeper of those 18 he has completed 4 of them with 13 falling incomplete and 1 being intercepted. So he is completing only 22% of deep passes. The thing the chart doesnt show is when did he go for the deep ball. Was it 3rd and 3 and we are going deep? or is it 1st and 20?

Beloved one, he's said that before but than goes on the field and does the same sh1t. Tired of the talk, let's see it on the field.

Once Bens physical skills start to fade he will fade quick as a QB. Manning was able to last longer because he was just smarter than most QBs. Brady will be able to do the same he will mask physical limits by hitting open men short and letting them do the work. Sure you have to go deep from time to time to keep a defense honest but a short 9 yard slant that goes for 75 yards and a TD is just as cool as a 30 yard bomb that turns into a 75 yard touchdown

If Brady was QBing our team we would be scoring 35+ a game. Ben just gets off on throwing the long ball too much. Opponents know it's coming every other play and play to cover our deep routes, and just ignore everyone besides AB & Bryant, Ben won't throw to anyone else that much. Bell gets a large number of catches but hasn't done anything with them so far this season. Ben needs to spread the ball around better so defenses have to respect our total receiver core and not just cover two WRs.
