i'm still 100% baffled at the notion that some people think this is actually a guud idea. i don't even want to be in the head space of those ladies... or zip code, for matter.

as angry (disappointed) as i am at Bylsma for his inability to adjust during that last series, i do put the heaviest blame on the players. they are professionals, they play hockey PROFESSIONALLY, so they should be able to see what is going on during the game and make their own assessments and adjust accordingly. Bylsma is well received by the players and i can see how they would like him, his approach and his style of game. is he a great coach? no. is he a good coach? yes, most definitely. can he do better? absolutely. i'd rather have Bylsma than any other coach that is available at this point. the system is in place, the players that are there understand his system and they did make it to the ECF... which is not that bad. the Penguins obviously need some personnel changes on the ice and as the motto goes: IN SHERO WE TRUST.

that opening camera angle of Claude's chin is less than flattering. chins on top of chins. I love that 'embellishment city' is made by a jilted Canucks fan. you can file that with the picture of the flaming truck bob posted.

I agree about MAF, but to be fair. He's been Chuck Knoblauch 2 years in a row. Blaming a NHL coach for goalies is like blaming an MLB coach for a relief pitcher. Goalies and pitchers make coaches look like a genius or a moron more than just about anything else in major sports imo.

My issues with Bylsma is how he has used his roster for 4 years outside of the goalie. The gm gives him 2 goalies, maybe 3 if they really suck, I always have a tough time giving a coach credit for a goalie on a hot or cold streak.

    Did you see part one?

not really. saw that it existed and the Vancouver logo and I moved on. assuming it was all the garbage that all teams are guilty of and all teams complain about.

this video says it all... anyone have SCSTD and/or MiamiTom's email address? at the 3:00 mark, the commentator says, "disgraceful"; "and the oscar goes to..."; and Tom Cruise applauding was funny too. i'm thinking that you must have to practice embellishing to get it down like the Broonz do, because some of those moves are truly mind-blowing.
hey, did Mercury make this clip? i was wondering what he's been up to lately.

But it's been much more difficult to make such a good video for anybody besides Boston and Vancouver.

I think it's great, because if the Hawks win, Hawks fans get to act like azzwhols.
If the Hawks lose, it's because the Bruins are well documented whining, diving, cheating azzwhols.

It's a nice emotional backstop and a reason to discredit any Chicago loss. I'm doing my part to make sure the clips are getting to the meatheads that don't already know of Boston's diving prowess. :)

just sort of funny because most other teams are far more guilty of this, they just weren't the ones to beat the Canucks in the SC. That doesn't excuse some of those dives though, really embarrassing. I don't think it would be difficult to breakdown any team's season and highlight all the dives? The Penguins and Habs would look like the Greg Louganis invitational.

Boston gets the crown until another coach gives a lecture on diving and somebody makes a 5 minute vid of dives.

Lots of teams dive. I think the only real thing that separates the Bruins and Canucks from everybody else is Marchand or Burrows.

Who knows, we may get a new diving hero from Chicago. Bolland would be where I put my money. He'll be as useful as Campbell this series. He's reduced to questionable hits and complaining for calls. Of course the Bolland-ites will point to his hit on Nyquist in game 7 and knocking out Richards as playoff-warrior types of events. I would have settled for an occasional offensive zone contribution or a few faceoff wins. He's not even on the pk anymore.

    Okay, besides Vancouver, who?

I'll put Pit, Montreal, SJ, Buf, and Washington in the upper realms, but who can bounce Boston out of the top tier in the East?

I think the rest of the league is all lumped together after that.

Marchand is the game changer. How many games before Boston fans are intimately familiar with Andrew Shaw?

  19. big question that is on everyones mind and the real x factor here will be Carcillo >o_O and how many times will Pierre McGuire make love to his Toews fathead

Id say by the end of the 1st period. Hoping that Bigfat becomes familiar w/ Keith and gets in to his head. Maybe you guys can start sharing the voices....thats my hope for this series anyway. Get Keith of his game, take a blade to the face if needed.

so thats pretty much the entire NE division. Fla likes their diving, Pitt, Wash, TB. Out west- Van, SJ, Ana??, Calg??
