How does Gryba get 2 when Ference gets one? Ference's was seemingly intentional, Gryba was just holding tje blueline. Never happy to see anyone not named Matt Cooke get injured but I thought that was a good, well timed step up from Gryba.

 

so, i was walking around town earlier today and i noticed a few blue and red "BELIEVE" t-shirts... either the Blue Skirts are playing today or Justin Beiber is coming to town. OR maybe, JB is the Rangers' new mascot.... ok, i get it now. i read it wrong. HA-HA! the NY Beleibers! another reason to disrespect those clowns.

unfortunately, Cutter, i did not make it up... the fans are wearing "BELIEVE" t-shirts. after today's game, i'm starting to believe... the Blue Skirts might get swept, that is. Reality Check: the Islanders are doing better than the Rangers. gave you a thumbs up on the goon perk. she is a little soft, but hey, her rack and enthusiasm makes up for it. maybe that Flyer Ice Girl can apply for that job posting in South Philly.

i normally don't bet on horses, except for the Big 3 (Kentucky Derby, Preakness & The Belmont). yesterday, i plopped $400 down on ORB (6/1) at the OTB for the Derby, this horse was one of 3 early favorites. i also tired to string him in with a few low-bet Exactas, but kept missing the second horse. i haven't picked the Kentucky Derby correctly in 15 years, i'm usually pretty lucky with the Belmont (it's typically a shorter field of horses). the funny part is my wife tried to Place Bet $100 on GOLDENCENTS (another favorite)... but she ended up saying GOLDEN SOUL instead. the woman at the ticket window said, "the Number 4 horse?" and my wife said, "yes, GOLDEN SOUL"... she basically air-headed her way into a decent chunk of change at 19/1 for the Place. it was a good day at the track and i didn't even have to go past Mid-town.

 

never went to the track, but Im not much of a betting person unless its fantasy sports. sounds like u did alright Halo. you want a sure thing to bet on - Abby will be suspended for his moronic play

 

i missed that game. i'm sure the Wings were frustrated. i was hoping to use my Rodney Dangerfield line, "Did somebody step on a duck?" oh well, maybe i'll save it for later.

 

the Applicator would've been okay from any further discussion, except for the fact that he made a "follow-thru" motion with his left arm after the hit ...AND the fact that he went Raffi Torres Triple Axel. it was a good move to crush Lydman, but it just wasn't done correctly, unless he was trying to put Lydman into the parking complex. too bad for Detroit that it wasn't Tootoo in that situation, it wouldn't be such a big loss because the Wings most certainly will miss Abby.
