  1. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Mike Richards took part in the Los Angeles Kings' morning skate Saturday and it's not out of the question he could dress in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals. Sutter says, it's 50 50 he could go. That might spark some offense for the Kings if he does...and they could sure use it.

I'm w/ ya cuter and thanks for the congrats. Still not really sure what happened there but I think the Pens were over confident coming in, got slapped around and didn't know how to respond. A hard ass coach might do them well.

  3. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Sergei Gonchar and the Stars agree to a 2 year $10 million deal.

  4. Matty the Pens got beat flat out on so many levels they were just a better team. I still dont care what anybody says its not Bylsma's fault though. hes a good coach. maybe the line advantage thing at home couldve been handled differently but that organization is a bigger joke than I thought if he gets the broom. at what point are the players held responsible, stop blaming the coach. I like Babcock a lot and think we have the best coach in the league but if he wasnt here Id take Bylsma

  5. Will 5 mill a year - what the hell is that!! I thought Jim Nill was smarter than that. wow thats bad, not even close I hope this is sarcasm laid on real thick

  6. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Bob, I love the orca 1 1/2 graceful Kesler (I meant dive)

I think Bylsma is a bad coach, not terrible but bad. I think he's best suited for a team on a budget that has to pound their way to wins. Way too much emphasis on physical play outside of the circles for the roster he has and way too much rope given out to players losing position on a shift over shift basis (not just the stars). I've thought this since 2010 and I've seen nothing to prove otherwise. He wastes talent and can't adjust well imo.

Me too, unless Chicago faces them. Then I just want Boston to lose PERIOD!

I'm polishing my fan resume as I type.

Absolutely. Everybody in the hockey world knew that Boston was going to play the same way for years. Even when Pittsburgh FINALLY made some adjustments, they couldn't sustain consistent offensive zone pressure without unzipping their fly in another zone. Games 3 and 4 were strong games for the Pens but the Bruins were better. I don't know how the Pens hid their blueline all year, I thought it was bad last year and worse this year (age and mileage) but they seldom seemed exposed for some reason.

The Pens pp has to do anything, that falls on coaching no matter the roster. Letang, Malkin, Crosby, Neal, Iginla, etc. All skill sets needed, all shooting and passing types needed, etc. No excuse, that's on coaching not the players. Bylsma needed to hit the panic button in game 2, but he let his team drown....again.

That's something for the ditch right there, in the Tambellini wing. Poor guy never should have been the coach. Can't wait for "Oil Change-return to suck". That hire reminded me of Tallon hiring Yawney or Savard. Bad idea, bad idea.

Love the Gonchar signing for dallas. Way too much money, but they need the pp help until they get help from within. On one hand he'll help, on the other hand, this move will probably help them stay 1 game out of the postseason so they get another mid 1st pick instead of a top 5. We'll see what else they do. After Chicago, STL, and Minn, I think the door will be wide-open for one of the other 4 teams in the division to fight for one of the other two playoff spots.

    Fun in the offseason begins.

Almost time for puck drop. Lose Sutter, Lose.

Fans of the winning team do not see the game, they see the win. Good coaches see what made the other team successful and counter (ala Babcock with lesser parts). Unfortunately for AV and others they can't change.

I really despise crushing hockey fans of the other team because you think your team is better. Unless they think a shot on goal should count if it hits the post.

The B's really killed some good hockey revenue.

The Hawk's have the opportunity to kill some more.
