I also find it ironic that Chi-Det probably had less of the garbage than any of the 2nd round series.

LA-CHI is just starting to rev up the stoopid. Bolland, Brown, Carter, Bickell, Keith, etc. Shaw, Greene, Regehr, and some of the other favorites for stoopid haven't put their mark on the series yet.

wanna elaborate on this. IF there were more competent analysts, who made a priority of talking about things that actually matter, i'd feel differently.i am sick to death of hearing about the following cliches:

experience
heart
grit
sending a message

off the top of my head, there are few analysts who are worth the time to listen to. ATM, as far as i know, none of them are employed by NBC/Comcastiversal. ray ferraro is generally good, it seems to me. he's the anti-pierre. darryl reaugh is funny (semi-exception to the NBC thing, not his primary employer). most of them are no better than the average glogger, and some are far worse. i have nothing against manitoba, royalty, or grain crops - but i do NOT wanna hear about the brandon wheat kings right now. kthxbai.

Engblom killed me with a Calder Cup story about Sharp and Carter. He was gaining so many points in my book too. I was glad for their continued emphasis on the game and not the zebras.
