I've decided to report all posts that disagree with my opinions.

I'm not going to judge a player on 1 playoff series unless they have an emotional meltdown. I like Seguin's talent better than Kessel but I'll take Kessel right now over Seguin. Boston is a terrible matchup for most top line wings so I will be expecting Seguin to win a statistical argument. Carlyle will leave Julien plenty of chances to let Seguin get a nice matchup to exploit. I think Boston will win this series without much concern, so I'm not sure how many games I'll catch.

    Is Thornton recovered yet?

Kessel's body of work since he's been on the Leafs speaks for itself, just thinking that this series against the team that dealt him gives him a shot at redemption.

I would think the only facet of the game 81 would have over 19, or anyone in the league, would be statistically. I don't think he'll ever be a Selke csndidate.

US under 18 team just lost the gold medal game against Canada 3-2. Outshot them by a huge margin but came up short. Wouldve been something like the 5th straight gold for the US. Sport is growing here and its great to see.

Seth Jones to the Avs? Story book start to his career.

    Hawks up 1-0.
Terrible start, bad passing, 1 and done every possession, Crawford lets in a terrible goal, the pp yields more scoring chances against than they generate, the crowd was taken out of it right away. Couldn't have been much worse considering Minnesota didn't even try on offense but the Hawks settled down.

Ice time by Q was very evenly spread with all d pairs sharing assignments. Suter logged 300 minutes. I think the Hawks were sloppy and anxious, I'll expect a better overall game on Friday from Chicago.

Hawks got that stinker out of their system and still got the win.

Did I hear the analysts right when they were saying that the Wild could/would use the goalie coach as Harding's backup last night? That would really be something if he was forced in to action.

You heard that right. At the tender age of 43, Rob Mason was ready to go.

Konopka pushed Toews into Harding at speed on a rush at one point. I would have put money on the line that Harding was injured on the play because of his dirtbag teammate (I would have lost money). Harding was fine. No Rob Mason for the Wild.

Florida used their goalie coach Robb Tallas for a period or so as a backup on the bench at one point this year and my favorite story was the 40+ guy ANA yanked off the street to do warmups and sit on the bench for day when Hiller got sick. He was last sighted in 2003 or something in the ECHL and played some roller hockey after that for a few years. I'm pretty sure he hadn't played in a semi pro capacity for years. The guy got his cup of coffee, one of my favorite stories of the 2013 season.

Geez, Rob Tallas had a hard enough time stopping the puck when he was in his prime. Ive heard some pretty good stories about AHL teams needing players on the day of game. They offer something like $100 or you get to keep your jersey. My brother warmed up for the Lowell Lockmonsters about 10 years ago but they got a real goalie in time to back up for the game. It was awesome watching him get lit up in warmups. Give him credit for trying but it was hilarious. You could see the guys laughing as they were shooting on him.

Lemieux, Gordie Howe, and Mark Messier have a combined 0 playoff overtime goals

    Bryan Bickell has 2.

  19. The Craphawks have exactly two Stanley Cups in 40 years, Bruins 2 in 30 and armPittsburgh 3 in franchise history

The Wings have 4 in the last 16

.....Im slowly turning into Isle fan
