The Ditch part deux

This series is the most difficult to get a handle on imo. I still think the Blackhawks will find enough offense to prevail. I want to say, I dont see LA finding enough offense to take the series, but all Quick might need is a handful of goals if he's really on. My prediction; series goes 7, Hawks win it.

 

I like any prediction that has the Hawks on top. I don't like any prediction that requires the Pens to play 4 or more games to win.

Hawks pp has to be effective, at least maintaining the zone.

 

Hmmmm, I guess that means the Kings and Bruins will battle for the CUP then?!?!

I think the Crawford is the X factor. the Hawks have the speed but Im goin with the Kings on depth. The kings are also more built for the playoffs in that they have size, toughness and are better in the corners. Hawks PP and the home ice advantage will also be huge for the Hawks. that home ice I think was a big factor against the Wings. if it comes to game 7 against the Kings in Chicago - then Kings are done. Im hoping for an original 6 final. I hate the Hawks but a final against the Bruins I think would be a HUGE draw on TV and unlike Uncle Gary that would be good for hockey

 

The first goal in the WCF will be huge I think. If LA gets it they're so good at sitting on it but if Chi gets it and LA has to open up a bit it they'll be playing into the Hawks hands.

I agree completely. Comebacks will be especially hard for either team since they'll have to play a style different from what they are built to excel at.
