you're right Cutter. it is Hopper. Dennis Hopper was in David Lynch's "Blue Velvet". Hopper played the role of one of the scariest characters in cinematic history, Frank Booth. "Dennis" just doesn't have that diabolical ring to it. feel free to address me as Fire, Halo or Frank... i respond to any of those. i've also been called some other choice words, but that's another story. 5. gotcha, never seen Blue Velvet. Id like to see Jack Torrance and Frank Booth in a cage match, no way can Frank come out the winner. dont mess with Jack - thats the scariest character to me. Anton Chigur takes a close second

Torts just got fired. no surprise there. who's up next for the Rags?

  7. dammit Matty I almost had Alfs record for last posts

  8. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

sorry cutter, my bad, I'm spayshal.

  9. no the city of Pittsburgh is spayshal

by the way almost ran the table there. 8 threads Alf - beat that!

  10. where does Torts end up. Caps? he'll land somewhere, I kinda like him hes old school. Im happy with Babs though, I think we have one of the best coaches in the league. better yet who replaces Torts?

......now bring back my man Iron Mike Keenan

Torrence is formidable... he has the Voices on his side. Chigur is tough too. but Frank, has a few more advantages than the previous two: one: he carries firearms (beats Chigur); two: he's naturally cruel and demented and is never confused about his perception of the world and loves nobody (beats Torrence); three: Frank is whacked-out on various pharmaceuticals PLUS he walks around with a gas mask connected to a tank of AMYL NITRATE. i know Chigur carries a tank, but his is just ordinary compressed air. Frank's tank is providing direct hits of speed in a gaseous state to his already twisted mind via the expressway.

Bye bye Torts. Thank goodness we have Roy to cover the media.

What coach wants to be in NYR after the massive disappointment? Sather has all offseason to mess up contracts too, and he's already out of one amnesty buyout. Don't think Sather can bring in a rookie coach with Lundquist, Richards, and Nash there, he's going to have to pay through the nose to get a big name there. I think NYR wants "in" on the Tippett sweepstakes.

  13. but Frank, has a few more advantages than the previous two: one: he carries firearms (beats Chigur)

Anton has that awesome automatic gun w the silencer on it - that thing is awesome, and silent. are you telling me Hopper is a better villian in this movie than Nicholson and whatever the other guys name is. If so Ill be watching Blue Velvet soon, I love the villian movies

little sidenote, one of the hottest chics to me Penelope Cruz is married to that whack job Chigur in real life. I love No Country for Old men and Antons part is one of my favorite in any movie but cmon that guys a goofy lookin dude and thats what Penelope marries? Anton must have some hella game

  14. I cant see Tippett there. hes a good coach but not the limelight kinda guy. who did the Rangers use for the amnesty buyout - Redden? Im not a salary guy so that might be a dumb question

    ......and no

  16. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

He just signed with a KHL team in Russia, cutter.

  17. the thing about frank booth, cutter, is that i think he's the kind of guy anyone is far more likely to meet than those others - hannibal lecter in particular comes to mind. he doesn't have mad ninja skillz or an awesome arsenal. he doesn't eat people or wear their face as a mask. he's just a nutjob with a bad attitude, and that to me is a lot scarier. way closer to anton than jack.

i hope that torts ends up somewhere where we here in the states can still see him regularly.

  18. are u shitting me. that cant possibly go well, although they are the founders of the 'iron fist'. Is it Sergei's team? what would the irony be there

....now bring back Brian Noonan, Jocelyn Lemieux and Steve Larmer

i gave SERIOUS thumbs up on the Cruz/Bardem connection.

back to Frank Booth... i remember Chigur being very calm and calculating with his hits. he seemed to be fully aware that he did not want to get caught and tried to be as stealth as possible. Frank has ZERO concerns such as these. he just deals with whatever as it happens. stupid? maybe, but mix bat-s**t-crazy on speed with some stupidity and LOOK OUT!
