how could I forget CBC, I love listening to Bob Cole. not to mention I get to see Don Cherry. hey Will remember when it was a big deal back in the mid 90's because Cole would always pronounce Slava Fetisovs name wrong

 

the Ravens-Steelers threads are a bunch of blowhards. i've tried to "talk" to a few of those guys, but it hurts the skull too much. quick little quips and cross-bow sized hits of clarity is all i can muster over there. i don't think i have enough NFL-grade FOIL at the moment. now, where's that damned barge? oh, right. it's a holiday.

 

haha...yep, sure do. He still says De-troy-it, instead of detroit too. Bob's really getting into this Wings, Hawks series now, he's been pretty good imo.
Dont know if Coaches Corner will be on tonight, it might be. Ron will be there for sure though. NHL on CBC has been a life long habbit for me...one of my better habbits.

Awesome stuff, Jamal Mayers was fined for his game 5 pregame antics.

He was shooting the puck at Howard from his own zone during pregame. It was pretty funny but it will cost him 1,600 dollars +/-. I wonder how they came up with that fine number, it was 1/2 day's pay or 3 seats in the rows 4-12 at the UC.

Hawks are undefeated when Mayers effs with Howard.

i'm liking the RevCo video post. i agree on KMFDM... some good ones (Piggybank) (Split), just not consistent. Uncle Al did some producing for Skinny Puppy (the Rabies album) and some work for Lords of Acid. of course, there's always PigFace (no, not Tyler Kennedy) which had some Ministry/RevCo folks in it and also the Damage Manual (Chris Connelly and Martin Atkins). a REALLY good cover of Black Sabbath's "Supernaut" was done by 1000 Homo DJs, which consisted of Al, Reznor (vocals), Reiflin and Ward (drums) and a few others. the story behind the name is they were cutting this short 4-song EP and Al asked what group name should it go under. a producer/manager said "it probably doesn't matter". so Al asked "why?" the producer said, "'cause nobody's gonna hear it, except for maybe a thousand homo djs."
