I like those blue/grey Leafs unis.

 

The only thing I like about Toronto are their blue / white uniforms. These are fine for a change of pace, but Toronto's normal look is one of the simplest and best (unfortunately).

 

I have a news flash:

the Sabres suck.

 

D corps decimated with covid and injury. So what do you do? You put Brandon Montour on the block. (He should have been moved in the offseason to correct the imbalance with too many RHD and not enough LHD.)

Losing Jake McCabe for the season really sucks. He was playing the best hockey of his career. He would have netted a good deadline return as a rental. He’s probably played his last game in blue & maize. Will Borgen represents a younger and maybe better, but definitely a lot cheaper version of Jake. Then he got hurt too. It sucks.

Jack Eichel seems to be in some kind of funk. He’s strong enough of mind to snap outta it, but it seems a foreboding of discontent swirling in the lockerroom.

Krueger’s vendetta signals that his time behind the bench could be nearing an end. The healthy scratches are just hard to explain given the state of the team.
