They are suspending it and are just working out the logistics right now.

 

Time to start cheering for Moscow Dynamo, at least we can still watch Maxim Afinegonov.

 

AHL, ECHL and all other leagues will most likely follow.

We are sportsless. Sad.

 

All NCAA conference tournaments are cancelled. The tournament may be cancelled as well now even if they already said they are doing it without fans.

 

MLB cancelled Spring Training too.

 

Duke suspended all athletics indefinitely. So if the NCAA tournament is on then they won't be playing. I expect other teams to follow and the NCAA to cancel or postpone the tournament.

 

I gave up the leafs for lent, now it feels like I scammed Jesus.

 

Just to clarify, the season has been put on pause until further notice.
They've said that they really want to have a SC final, even if it means playing in July.

 

I've said this before hut the NHL amd NBA need to just resume whenever possible, finish their season, at least the NHL since so few games are left, and then go to the playoffs with best of 3 or 5 and then just have a shortened season next year.

 

Gary is open to any creative solutions.

 

When do you propose this happens? This isn't going to be over in two-three weeks. This is just the beginning, and frankly, these early steps are very late to take place. We're not going to get three weeks down the road and everything will be fine again.

Anyone thinking that these seasons aren't outright over is more optimistic than me.

 

Next season could even start late for all we know.
