    1-1, after 20...

Chara looks like he might have a serious ankle injury. Defense for Boston getting thinned out.

Boston wakes up and pumps in 4 straight. Just too damn good. 5-2 win.

Gents, what so few left of us on this thread...today is my 3rd year anniversary of sobriety! 1098 days. Got up early today to get my anniversary coin. The yearly ones are bronze plated and are heavier than the monthly coins, which are cheap plastic. all hold importance to me. 3 yrs in, but a lifetime to go. i know it's not easy, but thanks for putting up with me on this thread !

Cat I've seen alcohol ruin many people, even on this site. 3 years is huge. Of course every month is important as I'm sure the early ones were likely the toughest. I'm proud of you.

thanks. the first weekend was the hardest and then it trickled down less and less. my story, which i won't get into on here, is different than most recovery stories. they even tell you don't quit on your own and go cold turkey bc it won't last. real nice. im doing just that. cold turkey and no medical help of any kind and if been fine for 3 yrs. no temptations or relapses. im not the norm believe me. people are struggling to get through a single day sober. im one of the lucky ones that i get through my day with ease and it's not even on my mind.

feb 1 was 1000 days, so that was huge to me. next big date - nov 17, 2021. i turn 50 that day and when i started this journey, i told myself that i would never live to see 50 if i didn't quit now. i didn't think i would live to 47 or 48 and im 6 months from my 48th birthday. so living to 50 with 5 and 1/2 yrs of sobriety will be huge for me. after that, it's all gravy.

Another 8 goals for the Puter, how does he do it?

The one goal was pretty sweet though.

I don't know what it is about him to make the D skate away and the goalie lift up his pad when the shot is on its way

I read something interesting this morning, but cant remember where, but the article said; of the 4 teams left battling for the shot at the Cup, the highest paid player is making $8M. Think about that for a second. All the big budget teams and highest paid super-stars are watching on TV, lol.

Point is, it isn't how much you get paid or pay, but how well you play come Spring time. <---- thunk that up all by meself. :)

there's no I in team Will. $12 mil, $8 mil, $3 mil. it's an overall team that wins the cup, not 1 player! even the greatest players of all time had help winning the cup. they didn't win it on their own.
