Devils and Rangers each luck into a phenomenal player prospect. East gets #1 and #2, West gets #3 and #4. That's not how you want that to go, especially considering the current disparity between the two conferences... As an East fan, this blows. Definitely wanted to see that talent harassing the other conference.

Meanwhile, the Avs are pissed their royal gambit to get the #1 pick doesn't pay off. What luck to get there in pole position, what bad luck to not win it...

I told a good buddy of mine, a Tampa fan, that Columbus had a great shot at making life tough on them. The roster matched up well, and the best goalkeeper is the best equalizer. I don't think they'll win the series, but I predicted 6 games. It might be 7. Columbus is gonna make it fun.
