Drew Doughty is averaging over 27 mins a game.

Fresh of his rumble last night, da phil scores on the PP. I would of posted his fight, but it was more of a jelly-belly roll.

Gritty with another lackluster performance. Phlyer's lose 3-0 at home.

Wings have 2 Penalty Shots in 1 game so far and blow both of them... lame.

Instead of sitting on the bench in the AHL, Richard Bachman got a start for Nucks today. 19 saves so far on 25 shots. Yikes, I'd rather DiPietro came up for a game from the ECHL. Injuries to Nilsson and Demko showed up big tonight.

Tartar sauce with his 8th, Rasmussen with his 4th for Det (which is like 8 or ten on a good team). Pitt is getting frustrated. Mr. Doughnut with another slash tonight. Philly is carrying 4 goalies and they all suck. Buffalo is playing well and will visit an overconfident Wild team. SJ 1 Tor 1 in the 1st.

Buffalo is playing well enough to win three straight and to go 7-2-2 in the past 11.

Just wait until they play as well as they're capable of.

I was with you until the injuries hit like a new I-phone. Tough road-trip for the Nucks. They miss Boeser.

    Point’s 91 second hat trick...

What a night and what a way to score your first career hat trick.

Point becomes the second fastest player to score three goals on the power play after the late, great Jean Beliveau (he did it in 44 seconds back in 1955). He also now ranks sixth all-time in terms of the fastest hat-trick.

Point also shot up the goal-scoring rankings for this season, now sitting in a tie for third place with 12 goals. Oh, and the Lightning bested the Penguins 4-3 to boot.

Sends PK forward to Los Angeles... very next game, allows the fastest hatty in NHL history to a first-timer.

Mascots are more important than people would think. When the raptors joined expansion in the nba, they took the marketing approach of selling the game to kids. Their mascot would show up to schools, and the players would visit schools and get involved with the kids.

This was about 1995, fastforward to 2018 and a little math. A seven year old in 1995 is now 30 years old, earning $80k a year, big fan that goes to all the games with his wife/girlfriend.
The old fans die off, such is the cycle of life.

The argos and cfl almost got wiped off the map because of the over 60 fans. The only reason why the league stays alive is because of cities that only have one other major sports team.

with the snow that hit philly yesterday, i was shocked fans made it to the game. they called for 1-3 inches. it came down so fast, it was like 6-7. i left work at 2 and live 5 min away. at the intersection of where i work and the main street, which is 2 lanes each way, 2 cars headed down the street were stuck. i tried to go around them and because it was a hill, i was partially stuck. i gunned it out of them and right when i was going to get around a stuck car, some idiot from the other lane decides to make a u turn into my lane. well i wasn't allowing that and he had to wait. a van was sliding off the road sideways! unreal. i live at the top of a hill. some idiot in the middle of the hill stopped to let a car backout onto the road. well by waiting he lost momentum and got stuck. so did the other 3 cars behind him. i saw that and took a side road around it and got home. some people stayed at work till 4 till the snow stopped coming. the roads were a mess by then. i am WFH today and off all next week. i won't be in the office or online till the 26th. Thank God.

as for the Flyers. ho hum, their offense is a no show and Elliott got hurt again! i swear this guy is made of glass. where is lyons? where is hart or anyone who can stay healthy in goal? JQ still out there, while Hakstol is losing games. tick, tick, tick, Ronny.

Easy 80k, even more, these kids are in university at 18, have a degree by 22-23. After 7-8 years, a (pharmacist,IT,engineer,mortgage/real estate broker), even a plumber or electrician are earning top bucks.
Some of them even go to work with skateboards.

The point is, there'll be day when nobody in the stands can remember watching the broadstreet bullies and their two cups. You have to keep regenerating the fanbase.

easy taking shots at the flyers when your team hasn't won a cup since before i was born and i was born in 1971 !

Hey, everybody remembers the 1967 leaf cup win. Here's an idea for a gritty cartoon series. You have flyers showing uo occasionally, you have bobby clark as grandpa flyer, lots you could do.
