Win or loser point, the Sabres don't have any give up in 'em. I wish they'd eliminate the couple of mistakes/game that forces someone into the hero role.

But after six years of suckitude, I'll take the mediocrity with a we-will-not-lose attitude.

Another W, and the Sabres are above .500 at 9-6-2, (the 2 are loser points, so they started the day AT .500). Vancouver was the more determined team today. That is until the 57 minute mark.

I'm awfully glad for the two points.

Earlier the Sabres made the kind of move they haven't been in a position to consider for years. They essentially gave * a depth d-man, T. Fedun, to Dallas. The team coveted an extra contract spot for the org., and they have too many players pushing for a spot in BUF, ROC, and CIN. (* The conditions on the '20 7th make it likely the Stars give up nothing at all.) All in all a satisfying day for a team getting close to more-than-mere-competitiveness.
