Not sure I quite understand all the details of this deal with MGM. What I hear is that they're working on technology to provide data on players for things never been available and so quick.

We'll be able to see how fast a payer is skating and how fast a puck is travelling. Not sure how this fits into gambling. The nhl isn't taking any cut from the gambling itself.
A lot of data that was never readily available before, will now be.
