Since I don't work today I thought I would put some ribs in the smoker all day. I tried too wait till noon to open a beer but I was weak and tapped out at 11:45.

My brother in law and I each just got smokers but he has really been using his a lot more than me. He knocked a brisket out of the park on the 4th. I have to up my game so I am toiling over ribs and beer today.

Yankees were in town this weekend, so many new yorkers. I could spot out the italians, they look like me, except 70 lbs heavier and more of a a jay leno type of face.

im back. the lake was great. fishing was fun but didn't catch anything but disrespect. the family were there typical selves. all in all a good time.

thanks Will. i always say i caught nothing but disrespect when i catch nothing fishing. just a little laugher.

 

Fishing is a great past-time whether you catch fish or not. There is something real special about being near or on the water and just going through the motions, which is something ive done on many an outing.

My Pop's would take me fishing on the Sacremento River when I was just 3 years old... its engrained into my being, I love fishing. Strange tho, I havnt been fishing lately, especially since I sobered up, lol. There was always alcohol involved in my fishing since I don't know when. If we didn't catch fish, I sure as hell caught a buzz.

Nothing like Lake Erie Walleye and Perch fishing to cure what ales you. Down South I fish the Cumberland and Green River Lake for Strippers with my brother. We are both sober at the time and still raise holy hell and have a ball... fish on or not.

In 1 hour I will be in a 12-step meeting. I ought to stop at the store and get a license to kill fish. My skillet needs a fillet or 2 or 6. Damn, now im starving.

Last night the Toronto Mighty Pigs won by default against the Mighty Pigs in the true north summer hockey league. The mighty pigs only had 3 players show up.
