I’ve heard the hockey HOF is extremely disappointing and much smaller than most would think. The basketball one is in a mall in Springfield MA, hard pass on that.

i believe Skinny said the HHOF is in an old Bank in downtown Toronto, so how big could it be ? Same as the baseball one in Cooperstown. It's in between two other buildings on this strip of stores/buildings in downtown Cooperstown. The town is very old and the HOF needs to be in a nice new modern building !

Was gonna make a Grinder joke but I’m not confident enough that I even know what it is.
Its funny I had a conversation recently with a single buddy of mine and we both agree, I’d be absolutely lost in today’s online dating game. Never even had a Facebook page or anything like that. This forum is about as technologically advanced as I get. Thank god I found a sucker when I did to become Mrs. Mcgee55.

LOL Grinder/tinder what the hell do I know.

I guess I cant friend you on FB.

I was very lucky to convince my wife to get with me. I think I just wore her down with kindness until she finally thought that I cant be that bad. Sucker!

No Cat. I haven’t produced any art in over 10 yrs. I help my clients to arrange moving their property (mostly art, some dec arts) from here to there and sometimes accompany their high-value shit as a courier.

I wouldn't say that the HHOF is extremely disappoonting. I would just advise people not to expect to be blown away. They have activities like shoot on the interactive goalie, listen to old broadcasts, take a picture with the cup. They have an international section, they have an old habs changeroom. They also have a booth for every team.

    Lots to see!

You can't lose when you get to touch the cup. It's a second home to me, I always said I'd be in there.

That's very kind of you, man - both for the offer and the lesson. Despite spending plenty of time in sub-freezing weather over my 27 years, I've never seen snow. My plan is to wait until a snowstorm is about to hit somewhere I'd like to visit, and jump on the first plane there. What kind of weather do you guys see in that February timeframe, Dan? If I can catch snow and a hockey game with good company, I'll call it a bonus.

Going to northwest NC in late October to see the seasons change in the mountains. I've never seen what a real Fall looks like, either. Whitewater rafting, drunk nights grilling and by the fire, and a day/night touring the local craft breweries and eateries... But I'd give all that up if the Panthers' opening night was the same weekend. Thank heavens it's the week prior! I was sweating that, before the schedule came out! Whoo!!

dline, the beauty of Colorado is that we get 300 days of dry sunshine per year. Lack of humidity is a well known benefit in the summer. What many do not know is that when it is dry and cold it feels MUCH more comfortable than wet and cold. So, in February it can be shirtsleeve weather, or cold in the foothills of Denver & the Springs. But, go a few miles west into the big hills (a.k.a., The Rocky Mountains), and you're assured of snow once you get above around 9,000 feet. So, come to Colorado! Enjoy lovely weather - and hockey - and then git to them thar hills fer snow.

BTW, the DU Pioneers conf. schedule just came out. They're playing Miami (not "The U" version) on Fri. 2/22. I'm going to put in for the 2/25 FL game and hope to see you at both.

There was zero chance both were getting away. The girl is badass for tackling and tussling w/Johnny Law. I believe one could’ve escaped if both had charged the cop at the start. The fat man wasn’t gonna chase anyone down. The girl showed resourcefulness in thinking of the ceiling route, but didn’t think about a real exit plan (walls go up beyond ceilings). Too bad she hit a soft spot. Good show though.

Also, convenience stores sell some greasy products, so grab the greasiest thing in the store (peanut butter, vegetable oil, bacon/ham) and lather up. Didn’t these idiots ever see Fast Times? Brad Hamilton dumbasses! Doesn’t have to be hot coffee, grab the bucket of melted cheese that people pour onto their hot dogs and nachos. Squeezy bottle of condiments, preferably mustard or sriracha. In this situation, the ice dispenser is your friend, bagged ice is good too. If the ice cooler is outside, start ripping open a shit tonne of jaw breakers.

And one more thing, why was the fire door in the back area locked? That looks like a violation.

Oh, Cat, I know we talk about Florida vs places up north, but I don't think you want any of this, then. This is the nicest day we've had all summer and it's 90+ with 70% humidity. Maybe find a nice place somewhere west? Not really sure where the sweet spot is.

Nonetheless, sending everyone up that way my best - no one should have to suffer through that and snow in the same year.

from chicago to maine it's red on the weather map for severe heat index, so yeah, after my trip to houston 3 weeks ago, i could never be in that kind of heat for 6-7 months straight. i would die. now i know why the streets are so clean -- no bums on the streets in that heat to mess them up ! it's so hot in houston - no one is out on the streets. i was shocked people were golfing in that mess. i wish i wasn't ever 9 holes. thank God it rained for 30 min to cool it off. then steam was coming off the cart paths, it was that hot afterwards.

Yeah, I was homeless here in South FL for almost 2 years, but I was living out of my car, so it could've been a lot worse - I at least had some form of shelter. The heat and humidity down here are unreal. And yeah, it's somehow worse after the rain - like walking through a perpetual sauna. I always try and remind those who complain about the cold and snow: you can put layers on when it's cold, but you can only take off so much when it's hot...
