Will nuck fans jump off a bridge if seattle ends up making the playoffs?

You gonna sit the goalie and rest him for game 7? Andy was busy. This is called poor humour.

A good chunk of them may jump the wagon for Seattle first.

If Seattle won the cup, nucks fans would bow to the south. Not happening.

Strong possibility seattle puts together a killer lineup.

Any thoughts on the leafs in game 6?

Honestly, they took advantage of the oppurtunities last night. The B's were the better team, shots would easily indicate that. I only joke about their one line, they do have depth. They just don't have the same scoring depth the leafs have. The first line seems to be on the ice all the time. The leafs sure could take a page by using matthews on the pk like the Bs use marchand.

I say the pressure will be on the Bs if the leafs get out to an early lead. Home ice advantage should be huge and the Bs don't want this going to 7.

Yes, they better tighten up and stop with all the penalties. Cant give the Bruins extra opportunities... they will take advantage.

Bruins had 42 SOG... that's a boat-load. Andersen saved their bacon. Hainsey and Bozak were good, but the forwards need to do a better job of back-checking and clearing the zone. Bruins looked like they were on a Power Play at times when they wernt.

Might be a good idea, as they are nearly unstoppable, especially when Marchand and Bergy are healthy and get it going.

And I say, visa versa also. The pressure will be on the team who goes down early in my opinion, but even more so on the Leafs. They are in an elimination game and in the backs of the Bruins mind they can let it all hang out knowing that there would be a game 7 in the Garden if necessary. The Maple Leafs absolutely need to somehow stop the Bruins from skating and shooting at will. Usually you can do that by tight checking and hitting, but if Toronto plays that game I believe its advantage to the Bruins in a big way.

Anyway... Anderson needs to be great, Leafs need to stay out of the box...

I think babs overuses Hainsey, I disagree with keeping him out there for the full 2 min pk. He isn't drew doughty for chrissakes. He never puts any mustard on his clearing attempts, they usually go no further than his own blueline as they get blocked. Is babs actually admitting that an old and tired hainsey would be more effective on the second half of the pk than any other D they have?
If that's the case, then they failed miserably at the deadline in getting a player like an ian cole.

Look how much officiating in the playoffs has changed. They went from putting the whistle in their pocket to calling every little thing. Either way, it looks extreme on both sides.

Either way, pressure or no pressure, play the game. If the Bs come out strong and start scoring, it could force the leafs to mistakes. I just hope they still show fight if they get down 2-0. Some teams just fold and reside to their fate, it's usually a cheap goal off a skate.
