Isnt Ghost just a kid?... I like the 6 years, I think its good to nail him down. They see potential in him and with him being young and if he breaks out, they will have him at a steal. Defenseman are at a premium these days around the NHL.

 

The guy had a slow start coming off back surgery. He rebounded later, and showed his ability. He still had 39 points in 76 games. Considering his age, and the fact that it locks him up throughout his 20s, it's a good deal.

Oh, and thank god Hextall said no more defensive FAs. Time to bring up the youth movement. Not sure if you read the article. Sounds like Sanheim will be up, and either Morin or Myers (can't believe Myers' huge leaps). My guess is they start whomever they draft 2nd overall, too.

 

Cat, you know your limitations on hockey. You do not follow juniors or college and god forbid the overseas youngsters. You only follow the phlyers and not their pipeline. I hope you stick around and just add a thicker coat. I hope your continuing battle with demons ends well.

Red you're the first person to tell me in my 30 + years of being a hockey fan I have limitations. Yeah you guys know more, but you guys are the best at it or as I call you all - the pros. All of you are not you're typical hockey knowing fan. The average fan doesn't follow overseas, the NCAA's or juniors. Most average fans don't. I know enough about the Flyers prospects, so I wouldn't say not their pipeline. Versus you guys no, versus any Flyers fans I'm fine.

It's not about a thicker coat. You can laugh now. It's about 1 single post that was written in fun being dissected for no reason and over analyzed and over thought to psychotic levels is what caused this. I get the blame for being me and no one else is ever at fault on here. That's total bullshit. The sad part is nothing will change that either. It doesn't matter if I stay or go. The bullshit will go on. It will just find someone else. That's the issue, not me getting a thicker skin.
