No offense Pittsburgh, I just don't like you guys that much, I have good money riding on Nashville (placed in November at 28/1) and Subban winning will make some Habs fans really upset.

Changing the Panthers jersey? Fans down here had a season to start buying the new logos/jerseys, and now you're changing them up again? Yeah, I recognize that it could be very minor, but even then, when you spend a few hundred dollars on a jersey, you don't expect it to be outdated within the year... Glad I didn't. T-shirts will do just fine for me. But the rest of South Florida might not be as happy.

Also, it means I'll hold onto my Reebok shirts a little tighter. Always hate changing manufacturers. Look at the NFL - I don't think Nike helped anyone out, in the appearance department. Hoping Adidas doesn't want to make as big a mark on what's currently around.

 

They had an advantage before Nashville lost some of its top stars to injury. The Preds have been playing hard and overachieving all postseason... They're going to have to do it in a big way, now.

 

Agree, and losing Johansen is a killer.
I'm also a big believer in playoff experience, we know the lights won't be too bright for any of the Penguins, I'm worried about Nashville here.

I don't like that the Oilers are changing from royal blue to navy blue. They recently made the switch back to royal and now going back to the other. It's gonna look ugly with the orange jerseys.

 

I edited the current alternate to show how it will look.

It might not seem obvious on a computer screen but if you open the link and put them side by side instead of on top and below you can see it.

 

Well Joe, they could have done worse. I think it is very slight and the average fan wouldn't even know the difference.

 

I'm sure you will notice the darker blue,. Navy blue never sat well with me. The lighter blue was always better.

 

Virtually all the uni changes will be minor. For instance in Buffalo, were hoping/expecting that the excessive silver piping will be toned down, but no real change to the marvelous sweater.

What surprises me is that all teams will have a home and road sweater, but no more alternative sweaters. I kind of liked some of the alt unis I've seen. (I think outdoor games are an exception to the alt uni rule.)

 

No alternates means that we can expect Boston to probably not bust out something that clashes with Nashville. Usually teams will bust out alternates vs certain opponents so the jerseys don't look too similar.

 

these are my alltime favorites. would love a return to those but i feel like it'll be a small change.
a permanent move to the all black would be cool too.
