yeah were putting the fishing trip off until tomorrow, have to much crap to get ready for our 4th of July party. should be fun at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow I know Ill be hungover - but for fishing Ill deal with it. Yes Max one more for the record. GO TIGERS!!

any big 4th plans Will?

 

My biggest plan/goal is to stay completely sober and give my literaly pickled liver a break. Might just be the first fourth I will ever remember. Other than that, just playing things by ear. Not realy into the fireworks and hoopla stuff. Always used to have parties with the band, but, thats all history for now. In answer to your question...not much, I guess. But, thats OK by me.

 

Fishing does sound good though...

I dable into several instuments, but what I played in the bands were guitars and some bass guitar too. Our band was called 'Hard Knox'...just a party/cover/metal band with a few geared down tunes. Played in every bar and venu we could for about 20 years...mostly in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. If you ever fished Lake St Mary's, we did a weekend concert/pig roast (yuk) right on the shore on the 4th of July weekend about 10 years ago, that turned out to be a mini woodstock, lotta fun then and over the years. I could write a book on all the crazy sh*t that went on over time. Im retired from all that now...trying to stay clean and sober and that just doesnt work for me in that enviroment . Once in awhile, we get together and have a party, but those times are few and far between now. I miss it and yet alot of it I dont.

 

well the Dio comments wont fall on deaf ears with you. Megadeth in concert at DTE Monday, Deadly Teddly Aug 2 and Sabbath Aug 6th. dont think I can do Megadeth on Monday but gonna try and hit one of the other two. Im still pissed I missed Maiden last year, I had to work outta town - was not a happy camper, they dont come here too often and Im a huge Maiden fan
