  1. you have to hit the bay early though, the drunks there on the 4th can rival that of Mardi gras. Lulz is a local and if he fishes he can vouch for that \m/\

I always fish the monday after the 4th when the boat traffic and fishing pressure dies down for a day or so. Too many arsewipes out there for me. I don't expect them all to know boating regs either, but I would expect them to at least understand that there are rules out there and that most people know what they are. We hear about all the drunk driving fatalities but we seldom hear about the drunken boaters that kill people until they hit kids. Anyway, I get pissed off about that stuff so I'll go party and get drunk somewhere else and I'll hit the waters hard the next 2 weeks.

I'll probably get restless and take a few casts early on one day though.

Going to SW Michigan for a week soon, I'm still not sure which lakes I'll hit or if I'll go after something on the big pond.

The Professional Hockey Writers Association (PHWA) is currently made up of 285 members, 178 votes this year counted for the All-Star and All-Rookie teams. 107 member ballots had hanging chads.

The association also votes on the Hart, Norris, Calder, Lady Byng and Selke Trophies.

I don't believe they're going to have him work with kids at baseball clinics as part of his sentence. Why would you want the guy around kids or anybody?

Hopefully Milton will serve his community service in soup kitchens, I'm sure he'll find his way there someday.

Why don't the Lennies have any scoop on Weiss...I'm interested in him.

Shero has to sign at least 3 more players including a forward and a dman and he has less than 4 million to mess with. He'll leave half a million to a million to allow for roster moves meaning he has 3 million for another forward, dman and another one of either.

Get Orpik and/or Niskanen and/or Jokinen out of there and buy some depth Shero.

I don't trust that guy with a ladle. Why can't they send him off to clean a forest preserve or side of the road by himself?

They have plenty, it appears everybody with cap space wants him and he's going to play the market. Don't count out Holmgren yet, he might flip Schenn and Couturier for some dmen on the cheap and then sign Weiss for 7+ x 7 years with a full NMC.

I mean besides the Leafs, who have all 250 UFA's on the cusp of signing.

  19. Geez, I'll be following up on the Stoll seizure. Does he have a history or is this a symptom of the concussion?
Raffi strikes again? I wish the best for Stoll, about as scary as it gets. Curious what they come up with from this.

Unfortunately back when I was a little younger I used to see a heck of a lot of seizures... too many to count. Been around 14 years since my wife's last seizure and I'll tell ya, it's the scariest frickin thing to see in person. We got lucky and got it under control for a long time now, hopefully Stoll is as fortunate as we were. As long as a seizure doesn't last too long ( less then 60 seconds is best) they look worse then they really are. Anything longer then that and brain damage or worse becomes a possibility. The biggest danger and what sometimes even kills people way before brain damage does is the timing of the seizure itself. If the person has it happen while driving or walking down a street or down stairs or any number of other things that's when trouble can occur.

Let's hope the seizure isn't being caused by anything too serious or life threatening.
