I've never had a 35+ contract, I wonder what the burden feels like.

 

Wow, I'm learning alot about the writers I read in a number of cities because of this voting fiasco.

Some are saying going the route of "shut up and let us do our job", love the irony
Some are engaging in conversation trying to explain what happened.
Some are ignoring it.
Most are blaming the league. The league carries the most blame, but it's a shame the writers don't carry their weight as a group.
Others are saying "they did it" and "these are my votes".
Lennie's time to shine...Lennie is a turd.

NHL needs transparency for voting after this mess. Just a matter of time before PA goes after the league on this. Voting for AS appearances, awards, HOF, etc. impact contracts, potential sponsorships, and potential earnings now. Players going to get smart and go after the league soon enough on this. Gary better stay in front of this. No big deal in the states but that time will be here soon enough.

It's a shame the league is still so Mickey Mouse with this stuff. Saved a few pesos by doing the voting via email and probably messed up the format.

 

Wow, even Florida is doing a buyout. Saving a few pesos on Kuba.

Geez, I'll be following up on the Stoll seizure. Does he have a history or is this a symptom of the concussion?
Raffi strikes again? I wish the best for Stoll, about as scary as it gets. Curious what they come up with from this.

Everytime I see a play fall down cold and not know what happened who gets up to get back in the game isn't going to be considered brave or tough, they'll be a moron in my book. I get that these guys want to win, but they're adding to culture that makes a guy like Shaw get back up and play after getting his face rearranged by a chunk of frozen rubber. The guy is 21 and another high hit from Ference greatly improves the odds of him eating in a dark room with a straw at age 35.

Of course, the seizure could have been from ingesting too much mercury from the fish at the sushi bar by Stoll's home...obviously I'm thinking about the headshot.

In great baseball news, Milton Bradley goes to prison for 2.5 plus anger management classes, plus service, etc.
