I can't imagine Weiss or Filppula are happy about Briere and LeCavalier hitting the market. Doubt they like that EDM or COL may trade a young stud center.

I can't believe the number of Hawks fans that were complaining about the Hossa contract, even after the first cup. I wonder how long this one will shut them up. At least I can count on the local media to suggest an amnesty buyout they'll no longer have. At 5.3 million, the contract isn't going to hurt for at least a couple more years, and even then it might not be too bad.

That trade is a big win for the AVs.
