lol Cutter, I like where your head is at.

take it out on some smallies this weekend.

I think the Cutter-wish list will be filled with available names this summer.

  2. Reggie Bush should work well in the type of offense they've tried to run the past few years. Joique Bell should get a good amount of the downhill/short-yardage rushing opportunities instead of Leshoure (I hope). This season will be interesting. I'm hoping for 8-8, gravy after that.

  3. fair point, bob, but at less than hootie, hard to go wrong. worst case scenario, someone can always use a pylon with a good one timer on their PP, he'll be (comparatively) easy to move anyway, i think.

  4. *STOP* Hey now. Football talk is one thing but bringing the NBA onto these boards is crossing the line.

    You're probably right.
I've always had a tough time coming up with a strong opinion about what he's worth around the league because of his limited offensive ability. He's one of those guys that might be worth much more to Pit rather than everybody else. Maybe he's worth more. I've never been convinced either way.

  12. haha cutter, i suspect her issues are deeper than yours, and less treatable ;)

  13. lot of old UFA's this year, most past their prime. what do you guys think about Clarkson or Clowe. Clowe really sucked in New York. now that I look at the list of fat girls Bickell suddenly looks a lot prettier. what a crap year. Is it me or does it seem like every year Ribiero is a UFA?

See I think Clowe was actually really good for the Rags but terrible for SJ. He wouldve helped them against the Broonz. We bullied the crap out of them and no Clowe or Staal killed them.

Either way your point is on, Bickell looks better and better. He'd be smart to stay in Chicago. If he chases thedollar and ssome team expects him to be a top line player it will be a recipe for disaster.

Great news for all of you- Chiarelli has officially told Jagr he won't be resigned in Boston. Who wants him? Maybe Carolina can match that great deal they gave Kaberle by signing The Jags.

The official team of the ditch is the entire NFL.

27 arrests since February...and they still have more than a month to rack up arrests.

    Go get em' Goodell.

  16. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

That's a thing of beauty right there.

The talent level will be a little more interesting once the buyouts are done. There will be a few more after trades dry up.

    Vinny
    Iggy
    Louganis
    Briere
    Weiss
    Horton
    Clowe
    Ryder
    Cullen
    Filppula
    Smith
    etc. IAN WHITE!!!!!

I think it's much more interesting than last year. Havlat, Heatley, and Booth not going to be bought out because of injuries.

I don't like Clarkson much at all. Clowe's best days behind him.
Bickell is still a very average skate and inconsistent. Nothing like a good playoff run to boost the stock. I think he'll be better than Joel Ward, but I also hope he's less expensive.

I still think Stalberg has another step or two to take in his career. He's not a top 6 talent but I think he's one notch below that. He had a terrible postseason but showed impressive improvement in his overall game 3 years prior to the postseason. I don't think anybody will see worse than what we saw in the postseason so he'll have a good chance of performing to his contract. His speed is awesome, and alot of teams would really benefit from having a fast line out there. We've seen too many teams show effectiveness with a slower powerful line followed up by a really fast one. I think his defense will continue to improve, but I don't know about between the ears.
