This series is excellent for the NHL. Boston and Chicago hockey markets are huge and still underdeveloped. Good that LA made CF, why didn't NYR pull their weight? Ratings are very strong. Gary and Don are laughing in a hot tub right now.

Hockeybuzz has nothing on me.

I expect a large number of fringe roster players on EL contracts to be moved out to CGY and NJ this summer too. I see those gms going back and forth from throwing crap to the wall to see what sticks and being good at hockey.

Should be lots of picks swapped for rights next week too. Stalberg, Horton, Ribiero, Roy, Zdlicky, Clowe, Cullen, Weiss, Emery, Filppula, Bozak, and a few others might fetch a 5th up to a 2nd before the draft to get rights.

Ignoring that my team (because I've taken ownership) is in the finals, I'm really excited about NHL action this summer. No worrying about NFL training camps, MLB, or "Becoming Wild" reruns for me. We'll have a new CBA, non-controversial and controversial rule changes, new types of trades, new coaches, more trades, new front office philosophies, MOAR twitterers from the PA (fresh supply of trainwrecks), and improved media coverage in some markets like LA, MSP, CHI, CLB, and a few others. We might even get a sniff of what the zebras will want in their next contract.

 

only ones Im interested in there is Ryan(assuming its Bobby), Malone and Coburn. Bobby Ryan has been on my list for two summers if hes available at all Holland absolutely needs to pull the trigger....but he wont. I do like Halak(which the Wings dont need) and Kulikov - the rest ehh
