Poor Buckner. Cubs fans have nothing bad to say about him but he still fears all fans.

Beyond waiting for Domination Lucky. Blackhawks merited the win tonight, Bruins hate to say find ways every game.

Briere is a borderline Leafs fan.

Still say Pens in five over the Bruins...

the tables turned last night. Hawks definitely the better team last night. Bruins stars all struggled, Chara looked weak, Bergeron looked slow and indecisive and Tuomo was fighting the puck. Whole lotta sandpaper from the Hawks. Bruins should be welcoming this extended rest.

Last night the +/- was telling for Boston- Chara 2a and -3, Marchand and Seguin each -3, Bergeron 2g and still -2.

So many weak defensive plays from the Bruins especially the 'back checkers'. Looking at Seguin on the Handzus goal....and how the hell can Handzus stay a step ahead of Bergeron from the redline in? Lucic horrible turnover to Kane while he was the last guy back and was forced to take a penalty to prevent Kane from scoring. Marchand w/ a flyby on the Kruger goal, that one was the worst. Jagr on the gwg? Jagr on every shift?

so the defenseman doesn't have to play the puck? if so i don't like it.

I don't think the rule lasts too long, once they see 35+ dmen and pylons sitting on pucks.

I'm with Lulz in the sense that I prefer the refs don't have discretion. Lesser of two turd breakfast sandwiches. (I threw in "breakfast" to be more creative, did it work?)

I wonder how Penguin fans took that game with all that offense. Do Penguin fans cheer for the team from their conference that took them out, or do they want to see the Bruins lose?

  10. if this is some sort of reference to Tony Soprano im as shocked as you. he died in Italy at 51, loved the Sopranos

Ever watch how he ate during the series?
He would grab a handful of Pancetta on a walk through the kitchen and eat a half gallon of ice cream as a snack. What was his last scene, ordering onion rings? Can't eat like that.

If Tony spent more time with the ducks in his backyard and less time in the kitchen, he would still be with us. Who takes over the family with Christopher dead?

Im all for taking a gray area out of the game but I don't think this is one that will be beneficial. D can just let it ole right past them and watch it slowly roll over the goal line.

  13. matty, i don't think this is what that's about. they can still wave off an icing if they feel a player on the other team was being lazy about running it down. all they're eliminating (i think) is the ability to wave off a goal if they felt that the icing was a pass to a teammate that the teammate could have reached (attainable) but for some reason didn't. my feeling is, if he could have reached it, he should have. he either touched it or he didn't. if he didn't, too bad.

but i assume the current poilcy of "nah, the defender was milking it, i'm waving it off" is unaffected by this change.

ok, im all for it then. thank you lulzie.
