Lulz, it was freaking Jagr, not Krug or Kruger or some obscure player. I'll admit, it was tough to notice him the last 2+ decades but he was pretty popular for a time.

 

I can see how the ridiculous facial hair could be throwing people off. He looks like Wolverine.

 

Just caught an interview with a Boston radio personality, way too much made of the gif. of Hjalmarsson skating from an impending Lucic hit.

1. He often does that when he knows a forward is taking themselves out of a play to make a hit
2. He completed the pass, when he turns it over, it's because of forecheck, not the hit coming at him. WC stopped running him because that's how bad things happen to them.

 

I don't care about the early whistle in game 2 that kept a goal out. That stuff happens all year. I didn't have a problem with the refs positioning either. Just one of those plays imo.

I wish they would remove "intent" from the rulings and let the review on video do the talking for the ref. The Hawks scored 1 goal, score 2 damnit, then maybe I'll drive the Wah-bulence.

 

any predictions next game? Ill say Bruins put on their best show yet and win by 3, maybe a 4-1 final.....or in Hawk fashion theyll be down by 3 going into the 3rd and come back and win 5-4 *SORRY*

 

3-2 Bruins in OT. I'm hoping for at least 4 OT's this time.

 

lol, ok, don't believe me. i had no idea what jagr looked like - so much so, that when told it was jagr, my reaction was NOT: "oh ya, duh!"

it was "ok, if u say so."

i still occasionally see an off-ice interview with a red wing and have no idea who it is. if the player isn't on the wings, the chances of me recognizing them out of uniform plummet from an already mediocre height. i know what OV and Sid look like because i've been given no choice. jagr, not so much.

 

I'll stick by my guess of Chicago going down 2-1 and winning the series. I thought games 1 and 3 would be all Bruins. I think the Hawks are a little more flexible, but both show Gumby-esque characteristics.

I think Boston wins this big if I had to guess, but I wouldn't bet Lulz' pesos on it. Boston and the under for game 3, too many faceoff losses and bad changes on the road by Q. He's had 3 straight at home, when he does his "2nd period line blender thing" I expect some big mistakes.

No matter what the result, I don't think it's going to impact game 4 outside of possible injuries obviously.

The results of tonight will be blown out of proportion about how one team "rises" above the other. I hope it's Chicago getting unwarranted praise for the victory but I'm expecting a split in Boston with Chicago losing game 3.

I think you need cable lulz. Just imagine the amount of contributions you could make if you recognized some players.

 

4 OTs would be better for the Hawks I think. I'll take them.

After consulting with people that don't know hockey all day, they have convinced me that the Hawks will win 5-2. More Austrian sand grabbing!

 

i think i'll save my predictions until AFTER the game.

 

Late news...Hossa is out for the Hawks. Smith in for him. Havnt heard why Hossa has been scratched at the last second.

 

Streit 5.25 mil for 4 yrs with the phlyers. AV 2 mil per for 4 yrs.

 

That's just great.
