I prefer a HC that operates as an actual manager, and lets the OC / DC run their respective sides. I know that people say, "Well, you're going to lose your coordinators" - sure, but that means we were successful. Who was better for us, Fangio or Nagy? I'd rather have a good couple years with a coordinator than a bad couple years with a HC that can't manage a team. So that will take priority for me over any "offensive or defensive specialty". But that's something that will only bear itself out in the vetting process, which we're not privy to.

 

I would love to see it be Ozzie Newsome but they'll never get him out of Baltimore.

Rick Smith is my pref for GM at this stage altho i dont know much about many of the names ive seen flying around. Louis Riddick was full of praise for the Bears O-Line during that monday night Vikes game so fuck him.

He is supposedly the man who finds OL talent for the Colts and if that's true he's done a good job.

Reflecting on the season, I really did think Pace bought his ass at least one more year due to the Fields pick. But if that didn't salvage him, then why the fuck was Pace not fired last year??

 

Yeah, my wife started a new job today. She's helping get a non-profit started - something she's really passionate about, and an integral part of. She texted me about 20 minutes ago and said, "Did you see they both got fired??? How happy are you???". So I feel that.

 

Really good question. I honestly think that without covid they both would have been fired last season. I think the year wait was a monetary decision. Just opinion.
