Todd Reirden was axed by the Caps. After taking over for Trotz he’s been a regular season hero, and a real season dud. It must have stung that Trotz was the winning HC in their series.

As a Sabres fan, I am actually envious of a team being that disappointed after quite a lot of W’s. Buffalo fires people because they suck, and the owners hate sucks. Too bad firing owners is not a thing.
