I didn't browse through everyone else but the eagles gotta be bottom 5, maybe dead last. 2 needs but while they may have gotten the BPA LB they were choosing between a couple flawed prospects. Davion Taylor is inexperienced and undersized. Can he play right away? Harrison for instance went a few picks earlier. They had the ammo to trade up. I like Reagor and I know his QB sucked but can he play well when contested? You know I liked Jefferson over him and he went next pick. And then there is Jalen Hurts. Eagles really wanted to get their backup after failing with Clayton Thorson last year who probably wasn't their ideal choice at the pick but they wanted a QB.
Don't worry. You go to Georgia in 2030 but then in 2031 when they go to Ohio State it's probably gonna be set as a neutral site game somewhere else (since it's in August). The SEC knows what they are doing. It's genius marketing and schedule manipulation. Why do you think their BCS era computer numbers were so good? Everyone played 4 OOC home games vs easy competition. The inflated SOS when they paly eachother more than makes up for weak OOC opponents. People still deny it though.
Torgo took him in the 4th and you in the 5th in the GMO. I don't think it's a reach. I think it's around where he is supposed to go and I like him but is this what the Eagles NEED when they don't really have LBs?
I don’t have a problem with the Bears’ picks. I really wanted Jeremy Chinn though. We did need a CB to replace Prince, who earned every cent he was paid. Great player. However, I REALLY wanted Chinn. Put him down low with Eddie playing center field? Wow. Kyle blanketing the Z and a healthy line? Come on now
I liked this move a lot. I think it was the right thing to do and Hurts is one of those guys I think may be the underrated sleeper with potential. Someone over at NFL.com called the Eagles a Quarterback Factory. Nothing wrong with that, especially if this Hurts pick lands up paying dividends if the starter doesn't pan out.
Went to bed before the Steelers pick but I’m thrilled with the Highsmith pick. Small school or not, he still balled out and was a 3rd team All-American. The kid has a high ceiling who is just scratching the surface. The kid is hungry and excited to become a Steeler and I know he will pushed but the other LBs on the roster.
Power SEC schools are getting it done... Picks by schools: 1. LSU = 10 2. Alabama = 9 3. Ohio State = 7 4. 4 schools tied at : 4
NFL Network took the broadcast back from ESPN. They now have Jeremiah's big board showing and are a lot less cringe. Expect a lot less player profiles featuring players' mom's being crack addicts.
Ah. Nevermind. It's still ESPN. Once noon hit ESPN took over as the lead of the joint broadcast. Up here in Canada the draft is only on NFL Network today though.
This is the day when you can expect the TV to fall back half a round at times. Bengals start it off with LB Akeem Davis-Gaither
