Offense: stay in rhythm. Positive plays. Ball out on time. No home runs. Move the chains, get points. Fuck, I'm asking for Kyle Orton's offense.
Tricky dicky pass where line rolls left, Caleb is responsible for the rusher to the right, and he overthrows a quick out on the move. 3rd and 13. Of course.
2nd ball that he's dirted to an open man. Let's be real here - yes, Caleb has had shitty blocking, and has been behind the chains on every play. But, fuck... he has been bad.
The offense can't reliably move the ball because the OL is awful, QB is missing easy throws, and the OC has to try and figure out how to playcall around all that. Copy and paste for every year in memory.
Jenkins walked back again on that play. On the Caleb run #71 got destroyed. Not sure when ive last seen OL's get pummelled this much.
Shit, they let Nagy back in to call plays. Seriously though, they can't run the ball because the OL is garbage, they can't run traditional pass plays because the OL is garbage... if they tricky shit doesn't score this drive, that might be all she wrote. This is their best shot.
Jenkins has really looked like shit today, and I've been a big cheerleader for him. The whole OL has been rough, and I'd like to blame it on the C next to him, but on simple run block assignments, with Jones joining him (not that that fuckhead does much anyway), he still isn't getting it done.
