Chiefs 25 49ers 22 what a Heartbreak that somebody had to lose...it was a good game by two awesome teams
Damn good super bowl IMHO. Hope that ends the refs to any the chiefs to win as most of the big game changing calls went against the chiefs. Purdy did well for his first super bowl appearance. Chiefs talking three peat already but they have a lot of questions to answer on the defensive side of the ball next year as Chris Jones , Willie Gay, L'jarus Sneed and Deon Bush all set to be free agents. If they want want chase money there will be options if they want to chase rings there are fewer and if they want to three peat there is only 1. I'm 1/2 way through a bottle of Carazon so I hope everything is ledgable
Believe Kelce was pissed because he was taken off the field and his replacement missed a block and that defender caused Pacheko’s fumble at the 10 yard line. Not the greatest look obviously, but early in the Super Bowl, it’s understandable emotions got the better of Kelce in the moment.
I agree with Coach Cowher, 49ers didn’t lose the game, the Chiefs won it. Just looking back, the 49ers didn’t make many mistakes. That freak ST play where the ball bounced off the guy’s leg was the only real mistake I can think of. Sure he should’ve gotten away, McCloud was clearly yelling to get away, but still don’t feel like the 49ers have anything to hang their heads about. Also kudos to the refs, damn they were consistent which is truly the best thing they could be in a game. Plenty of calls could’ve been made, but they consistently let the teams decide the game on the field.
I noticed that too. I think there was only one holding call and no PI calls. Just let the boys play ball!!
I agree with you guys. Very little penalties, it wasnt a factor for once. Chiefs actually had more calls against them by far which ironically goes against what a lot of people have been saying that the Chiefs get favorable calls. Maybe they did in season, but the game was clean as far as blatant missed calls and such.
McCloud should have just fallen on the ball instead of trying to pick it up and make something happen.
