In addition to his normal trash talking of opponents on Twitter, Eli also ripped the fan bases of both of his former teams during the postseason: Bengals' Eli Apple tears into Giants, Saints on Twitter Pretty much demonstrated that the Giants were right - he really is a cancer on the roster. And now he's forever part of the Rams' highlight reel. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
To be truthful though he played a decent game. Right up until that phantom holding call on Logan Wilson kept that drive going. In other disappointing first round cornerback news, I thought it was kind of funny how Vernon Hargreaves managed to take a penalty from the bench. Like not just disappointing on the field, a disappointment in street clothes as well. Might be time for the league to give up on that guy in general.
